Abstract:
Disclosed are beverage containers and closures for beverage containers that are vented for the purpose of reducing negative pressure or vacuum that builds up inside the container when a beverage is being consumed therefrom. Also disclosed are closures which provide for chemical treatment of a liquid by a porous treatment matrix when the liquid is dispensed through the closure.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a private air conditioner improved in terms of functionality or convenience. SOLUTION: This portable private air conditioner has a vessel 6 for a latent heat storage unit 7 with an attachable and detachable injection port 15 for containing or storing an intake possible storage medium 8 frozen for air-conditioning. The vessel 6 has an intake hole 10 for air for exchanging heat when passing through along the latent heat storage unit 7, an exhaust port 12 for blowing off cooled air, and an air blower 11 driven by an energy supply device 24 arranged on the vessel side for feeding air for self-sufficient operation of the private air conditioner. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide functional clothing maintaining cooling/warming functions for a long time, without reducing the functions even when used for a long time and always giving comfortableness to a person wearing the clothing. SOLUTION: The functional clothing includes a thermoelectric module 200 attached to the clothing and absorbing and generating heat depending on an electric current, at least a first heat sink 300 installed to one side of the thermoelectric module, at least one second heat sink 400 installed to the opposite side of the first heat sink 300 based on the thermoelectric module 200, and at least one first blower 310 for blowing air to the first heat sink 300, installed to the opposite side of the thermoelectric module 200 based on the first heat sink 300. . Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a clothing capable of protecting a human body from a heat by a cooling action on wearing the same under a blazing sun. SOLUTION: This cooling clothing is equipped with a jacket obtained by using an insulating material and worn over the upper half of a body, plural heat pipe 8 arranged as distributed at the inside of the jacket, an absorption cooling device installed at the jacket and a hermetically closed and heat insulated partition part 18 for housing a vaporizer of the absorption cooling device and one end of each of the heat pipes together. In this case, a generator 3 of the absorption cooling device is equipped with a constitution of utilizing a waste heat of an engine of a motor cycle as a heating means 9 or a burning device of a fuel from a portable fuel container as a heating means, and a condenser 6 of the absorption cooling device is a radiator installed at the shoulder of the jacket so as to be cooled by an outside air. Also, the generator 3 of the absorption cooling device is arranged at the lower part of the front body of the jacket, the heat insulated partition part 18 is arranged at the upper part of the front body of the jacket, and a part of each of the heat pipes sticking out from the heat insulated part is arranged so as to proceed approximately in a downward direction.
