Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for determining whether to notify a driver, in consideration of an internal factor such as driver's personal lifestyle habit. SOLUTION: An information processor records the location of a vehicle or the traveling frequency for each traveling route, for each of a plurality of vehicles provided with advice information. Then, the information processor is provided with: a region setting means for setting a region where a notification is unnecessary, based on the location of the vehicle or the traveling route, in which the traveling frequency exceeds a prescribed frequency, for each of a plurality of vehicles; and a selection means for selecting advice information corresponding to a plurality of spots for each of a plurality of vehicles. The selection means does not select the advice information when the spot as the object of selection of the advice information is included in the region where the notification of the vehicle is unnecessary. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus 10 for displaying a current location of a moving body (e.g. a vehicle) on a map in a display screen of a display apparatus (e.g. an image display apparatus 61), and guiding the moving body to a destination includes an emergency action information storage part F4 for storing emergency action information indicating a countermeasure in response to the emergency situation, determines the situation of the crews in the moving body (e.g. identifies a situation item by a determination element), searches the emergency action information matched with the determined situation (e.g. the situation item), and outputs the searched emergency action information. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize traffic jams which may urge the succeeding vehicles to run slowly or stop for a long period of time still after the leading vehicles start with elimination of the cause urging running slowly or stopping. SOLUTION: An inter-vehicle distance measuring device 3 provided in front of a vehicle 1 measures the inter-vehicle distance between the vehicle 1 and a vehicle 2 running in front, and when the inter-vehicle distance between the vehicles 1 and 2 is below a constant distance fixed on the basis of the acceleration performance of the vehicle 1, a determination device 4 makes an alarm device 5 of the vehicle 1 operate. Since causes of traffic jams may be due to time delay for recovering the inter-vehicle distance at starting as the inter-vehicle distance to the preceding vehicle is made small during running slowly or stopping, an alarm is also sounded during running slowly or stopping. A signal processing apparatus capable of easily linking video data of a DVCR connected by an i-Link or the like and utilizing the same in a desired format is disclosed. Streaming data such as video data is defined, managed, and controlled in usage by an "optional-media" link tag linked to a "gpoi" tag defining a specific position in a position information file. The "optional-media" link can describe the five attributes of a format attribute for designating a connected apparatus and format information thereof, id attribute for further specifying the target in the connected apparatus designated by the format attribute, an "in" attribute and "out" attribute for designating a reproduction start position and ending position of the designated data, and a repeat attribute for designating a number of times of reproduction.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision device for appropriately providing information in consideration of a plurality of workloads of a user who is driving a vehicle. SOLUTION: The information provision device 1 is provided with a model DB2 in which a quantization model for calculating a workload value from contribution actions of the user driving the vehicle is stored in advance for each of a plurality of different workloads related to driving of the vehicle. The information provision device 1 acquires data regarding the contributing action from the user driving the vehicle for each of the plurality of workloads, and estimates the workload value of the user from data on the contributing operation of the user driving the vehicle using the quantization model.
