PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead tab that effectively prevent overheat of battery cells.SOLUTION: A lead tab includes: an insulation cover which comprises a protruding boss unit and is made of an electrical insulating material; and an overheat cut-off device assembly. The overheat cut-off device assembly includes: an overheat cut-off device; a first lead and a second lead that are electrically coupled to the overheat cut-off device; and a hole into which the boss unit of the insulation cover is fit. The boss unit of the insulation cover has an edge portion formed to be larger than the hole to restrict separation of the insulation cover from the overheat cut-off device assembly.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lead plate, a battery pack including the same, and a manufacturing method for battery pack.SOLUTION: A lead plate for coupling a plurality of battery cells electrically includes a first weld zone, a second weld zone placed to be separated from the first weld zone while holding a slit therebetween, and a bypass having one side coupled with the first weld zone and the other side coupled with the second weld zone. One side of the bypass is located on the reverse side of the slit with reference to the first weld zone, and the other side of the bypass is located on the reverse side of the slit with reference to the second weld zone.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack.SOLUTION: A battery pack includes: a first case; a second case coupled with the first case; a plurality of battery cells which are received between the first case and the second case and are positioned side-by-side; and a label comprising a first surface attached to an outer surface of the first case and a second surface attached to an outer surface of the second case. A side coupling portion of the first case and the second case forms an outwardly convex round shape, the label comprises an intermediate surface which encloses an outer circumferential surface of the side coupling portion, and the intermediate surface is formed continuous from the first surface and the second surface. Thus, area and thickness of a label-attached portion of a case on which a label is attached can be minimized, allowing a slim structure of a battery pack.

Arrangements are described for connecting the electrode tabs of a plurality of electrode plates of an electrode assembly together, in particular to provide an arrangement that improves use of space within an exterior housing. The tabs are wound together to form a wound portion which is intended to be housed within the housing, and alternatively may be bent in specific ways to form a bent portion. An electrode lead for connection to external circuitry is attached to the wound or bent portion.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery for a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a battery for a vehicle including at least one battery module 10, each of battery modules 10 has a plurality of battery cells 11 bordered by battery module walls 12, and each of battery modules 10 is attached to a wall of a battery housing 14 or a vehicle body structure via two opposing battery module walls 12. In each case, a deformation member 15 is positioned between a battery module wall used for attaching each of battery modules to a battery housing or the vehicle structure wall 14 and each of wall 14 of the battery housing or the vehicle structure, and the deformation member serves to indirectly fix each of battery modules to the battery housing and the vehicle structure.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery for a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a battery for a vehicle including at least one battery module, each of battery modules has a plurality of battery cells 11 having a connection electrode and a predetermined fracture part 14 for gas drainage, each of battery modules has a common battery module controller 19 in all battery cells 11 of each battery module, a recess part 15 is formed by interiorly offsetting the predetermined fracture part 14 for gas drainage of the battery cell 11 to the connection electrode of the battery cell on a side surface side of each of battery modules, and a guide element 16 extending along all battery cells 11 of each of battery modules, is positioned in the recess part 15. On the one hand the guide element defines a channel 17 for gas drainage, and on the other hand the guide element defines a housing space 18 for the battery module controller 19.
