Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanoporous inorganic powder material having low density, low thermal conductivity and pores with high density. SOLUTION: In the nanoporous inorganic powder and a method of manufacturing the same, the nanoporous inorganic powder is manufactured through a sol-gel process from a precursor. The precursor is uniformly mixed with a solvent to form gel particles. The gel particles are polymerized to form a gel particle assemblage. The gel particles in a sol stage is uniformly distributed in the solvent and formed into gel larger than the gel particle. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake protection wheel position fixing device (anchor) simply and certainly fixing a large size machine such as a manufacturing facility relative to vibration by earthquake. SOLUTION: The earthquake protection wheel position fixing device includes a first fixing member 1 and a second fixing member 2 formed by a metal plate or the like bent to a right angle respectively. A long hole 12 is formed on a horizontal part 10 of the first fixing member 1 and a wheel mounting hole provided for movement of a machine is fixed to a bottom surface of the machine earthquake-protected by a bolt or the like. A long hole 22 is formed on a horizontal part of the second fixing member 2 and is fixed to a ground 4 or the like by a bolt or the like. Vertical parts 11, 21 of both fixing members 1, 2 are superposed, height is adjusted by the long hole 23 formed thereon and both fixing members 1, 2 are connected by a fastening means. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method and apparatus for manufacturing a thin layer transistor panel having a high performance and high reliability. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thin film transistor panel comprises the steps of providing a silicon base (10), forming a transparent insulator (12) on a front surface of the silicon base, forming a plurality of thin film transistor structures (14) and corresponding plurality of transparent electrodes (18) on the insulator, connecting the base (30) to the front surface of the base, removing the base, and etching the insulator to at least expose the electrodes.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronically updateable tiled display with overlapped display elements.SOLUTION: A tiled display 9 includes display elements 10 (11). The display elements 10 (11) can overlap each other to form a linear or multidimensional array. Pixels of display elements 10 (11) can be aligned with pixels of adjacent display elements 10 (11) to give appearance of the single tiled display 9. The tiled display 9 can be constructed such that it can be rolled, folded, shrunk, or disassembled for reduction of the viewing area size or for transportation or storage.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for forming a conductor pattern with a method capable of forming a pattern in an easy and fast manner on an image formation layer.SOLUTION: A display device 10 comprises: a substrate 15; a first transparent conductive layer 20 formed on the substrate; a cholesteric liquid crystal optical modulation layer 30 on the first transparent conductive layer; and a second conductive layer 40 formed on the cholesteric liquid crystal optical modulation layer. The second conductive layer 40 is a silver-based UV curable conductive layer.
