    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst coated membrane, in which the dimension variation in a hydration/dewater cycle is reduced, the adhesion of an ionomer-membrane with an electrode catalyst layer is improved, the adhesion between catalyst coated membrane layers after an immersion cycle does not vary, and the stability of the improved catalyst coated membrane in an electrochemical battery is held. SOLUTION: The catalyst coated membrane is a membrane having a first electrode catalyst layer containing a catalyst in one plane in two surfaces, and a second electrode catalyst layer containing a catalyst in the other plane. The electrode catalyst layer and the membrane contain (per)fluorinated ionomer. The dimension of the catalyst coated membrane varies not larger than 15% in the perpendicular direction of the xy plane thereof after the catalyst coated membrane is immersed in a desalted water at 100°C for 30 minutes then dried in vacuum at 105°C for 1 hour. The dimension does not vary after immersing in water at 80°C for 8 hours and followed by 60 cycles of immersion in water at 25°C for 16 hours. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

    SOLUTION: The method for producing a fluoropolymer dispersion liquid that does not practically contain a fluorinated anionic surfactant comprises the following processes: (a) a 1.5-25 wt% nonionic surfactant against a weight of a fluoropolymer contained in a fluoropolymer dispersion liquid is added to the dispersion liquid, (b) to the dispersion liquid is added a water soluble salt that does not give any precipitate in the dispersion liquid in a operating condition, (c) the dispersion liquid is contacted with a basic anionic ion-exchange resin and then (d) the dispersion liquid is separated from the basic anionic ion-exchange resin, wherein the dispersion liquid is to be filtered before the process (d) through a 180 μm net and successively through a 10 μm net.
