PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for highly accurately conveying a sheet to a predetermined position.SOLUTION: A printer device executes paper feeding control processing for abutting a sheet on the sheet taking-in position of a conveyance roller from a paper feeding roller by rotating the paper feeding roller positioned on an upstream side forward in the reverse-rotated state of the conveyance roller positioned on the downstream side. Then, the printer device executes paper setting control processing for further taking in the paper to the downstream side by rotating the conveyance roller forward and conveying the sheet to an image forming position. However, during the change from the paper feeding control processing to the paper setting control processing, the sheet naturally rotates. Thus, in the paper setting control processing, the rotational amount δ of the conveyance roller during the change from the paper feeding control processing to the paper setting control processing is first calculated (S430). Then, the target rotational amount of the conveyance roller is corrected by the rotational amount δ (S440). Thus, the sheet is highly accurately conveyed to a predetermined position by suppressing the effect of the rotational amount δ.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like medium feeding device configured to prevent a feeding failure of a sheet-like medium due to a contact with an end surface of a medium inserting part.SOLUTION: In the sheet-like medium feeding device 100, a pickup roller 101 feeding the sheet-like medium and a pressing member 102 pressing the sheet-like medium against the pickup roller 101 are driven by a single drive motor 103. A delay mechanism 150 is arranged to start rotating the pickup roller 101 later than the start of movement of the pressing member 102. When a driving-side rotary member 133 of the delay mechanism 150 rotates by a redetermined allowance angle α in the rotation direction, it engages with a driven-side rotary member 134 to integrally rotate the driven-side rotary member 134 in the same direction. The sheet-like medium is pressed by the pressing member 102 before fed, it is reliably fed from a medium discharging port without abutting on the end surface of the medium inserting part.
