SOLUTION: The printer apparatus (thermal transfer printer) is provided with a feed roller 8 for feeding a sheet 50, a feed roller gear 9 fitted with the feed roller 8 and transmitting a drive force to the feed roller 8, and a motor bracket 17 with a deformable tongue piece 17b urging the feed roller gear 9 in the arrow B1 direction. Furthermore, the feed roller gear 9 has a specified interval L1 (approx. 0.5 mm) with regard to the motor bracket 17. While, the tongue piece 17b has a protruding portion 17c which is provided in an L-shape by forming a cutout 17a in the motor bracket 17, provided projecting from the surface on the feed roller gear 9 side of the motor bracket 17, in the vicinity of the tip end part of the L-shape, and abuts on the feed roller gear 9.

Then, the printer device executes paper setting control processing for further taking in the paper to the downstream side by rotating the conveyance roller forward and conveying the sheet to an image forming position. However, during the change from the paper feeding control processing to the paper setting control processing, the sheet naturally rotates. Thus, in the paper setting control processing, the rotational amount δ of the conveyance roller during the change from the paper feeding control processing to the paper setting control processing is first calculated (S430). Then, the target rotational amount of the conveyance roller is corrected by the rotational amount δ (S440).
