    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to continue a stable operation over a long term in a method for removing 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol from glycidyl methacrylate by using a basic anion exchange resin by investigating the causes for lowered catalytic activity of the resin. SOLUTION: By adding a specified polymerization inhibitor to glycidyl methacrylate containing epichlorohydrin and 1,3-dichloro-2-propanol and by decreasing the concentration of a deactivator for a quaternary ammonium salt contained therein to 1 ppm or below, it is possible to prevent the resin from lowering in its catalytic activity and to therefore continue a stable operation over a long term.
