    Abstract: A rolling guide device having good vibration damping characteristics. The rolling guide device has a track member (1) having lines of rolling body rolling surfaces (1b), a movable member (2) having lines of loaded rolling body rolling surfaces (4d) corresponding to the rolling body rolling surfaces (1b) and relatively movably mounted to the track member (1), and a plurality of rolling bodies (3, ...) arranged and received between the rolling body rolling surfaces (1b) and the loaded rolling body rolling surfaces (4d) and circulating in response to movement of the movable member (2) relative to the track member (1). In the rolling guide device, the diameter (Da) of rolling bodies (3a) rolling on one rolling body rolling surface and the diameter (Db) of rolling bodies (3b) rolling on the other rolling body rolling surface are adapted to be changeable, and this enables the gap (e1) between facing surfaces of the track member (1) and the movable member (2) to be changed.
