    摘要: PURPOSE:To reduce the cooling time of an annealing coil in a batch system box type coil annealing furnace, by increasing the height of a coil cradle by leaving the same from the hearth and supporting the bottom end of an inner case with the coil cradle. CONSTITUTION:In a coil annealing furnace of batch system box type, the cradle 5 of a coil 6 is spaced upward from the hearth 2 and is thereby increased of its height. An inner case 7 is placed on the coil cradle 5 and its outer side is beforehand enclosed by the furnace vessel outside wall 1. At the time of cooling the coil 6 upon ending of its annealing, the furnace vessel outside wall 1 is removed and when the temperature has lowered down to a fixed temperature, the inner case 7 is removed and the coil is replaced with the next coil to be annealed. In this case, the coil cradle 5 is held spaced from the hearth 2 and nevertheless the inner case 7 does not cover the top surface of the hearth 2; therefore, it does not receive the effect of the heat of the hearth and since the cooling air by a fan 9 flows to the under side 5b of the cradle 5 as well like the arrow A, the cooling time of the coil 6 may be reduced and the working efficiency of the annealing furnace improves.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To enable to carry out the movement in the width direction and slight revolution of the furnace body, by placing the support frame equipped with wheels on the rail laid in the width direction of the furnace and putting the holder of the furnace body on the above support frame. CONSTITUTION:The rail 5a is laid in the width direction of furnace of tunnel type long length continuous heating furnace 1. The support frame 8 having the wheel 9, is placed on the rail 5a and is rolled on the rail 5a. The flat board metal 10 stuck on the upper side edge face of the frame 8, is faced against the flat board metal 10' stuck on the lower face of both side edges of the holder 7 supporting the continuous heating furnace 1. Further, the stopping shaft 11 is provided projecting on the center of the frame 8 and is inserted floatably so as to exist the gap 13 in the maintaining ring 12 firmly stuck on the holder 7. By the above construction, the body 1 is slightly revolved by sliding the metals 10, 10'. Hereby, the line is efficiently operated by easily corresponding to the adaptation for continuous casting slab or switching of sliding.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To decrease strain which is to be developed at the sie edge of a hoop, by cooling or heating previously the single side edge of a hoop to form plastic deformation, then winding the hoop into a coil, and by box-annealing the coil placed on a truck with plastic deformed side edge directed downward. CONSTITUTION:Prior to box annealing, a hoop 1 is heat treated by continuous annealing. That is, the hoop 1 passing through a heating zone 2, a soaking zone 3, a cooling zone 4 is cooled selectively at both surfces of its single side edge 1-1 by a local heating means 5 in the cooling zone 4. The temp. difference between the side edge 1-1 and the residual portion 1-2 causes to develop tensile stress in the single side edge portion 1-1 thereby forming deformation of edge wave shape due to plastic deformation at the side edge 1-1. The hoop 1 is wound into a coil, which is placed on a truck with the deformed side edge directed downward and contacted with the truck plate and is box-annealed. The side edge 1-1 may be heated instead of being cooled in order to develop temp. difference between itself and the residual portion 1-2 so as to cause plastic deformation in the portion 1-1. Hereby a hoop having little strain at side edge is manufactured.
