摘要: PURPOSE: To uniformly and finely mix hydrocarbon of methane series in a slurry and to prevent the occurrence of coarse particles by adding a specified amt. of the hydrocarbon having a specified m.p. to hard powder, mixing and pulverizing them under cooling. CONSTITUTION: Hydrocarbon of methane series having 20-80 deg.C m.p. is added by 0.1-5 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. hard powder of stock such as cermet or ceramics and they are mixed and pulverized in lower alcohol while cooling a prepd. slurry to a temp. below the m.p. of the hydrocarbon by >=10 deg.C. The resultant slurry is passed through a >=200-mesh screen. The cooling is carried out, e.g. by circulating temp.-controlled cooling water through a mixer having a jacket system. The melting and recrystallization of the hydrocarbon in the slurry can be prevented, and When the slurry is passed through the screen, the rate of passing is not reduced and blocking is not caused.

摘要: PURPOSE: To prevent the deposition of a hard powder on a mold and to form a green compact excellent in dimensional accuracy by pressing the hard powder filled in a mold and controlling the temp. of the obtained green compact or the mold to be below a reference temp. CONSTITUTION: A hard powder mixed with an appropriate lubricant is filled in a mold consisting of an outer die 1, an upper punch 2 and a lower punch 3, pressed and continuously compacted to obtain a green compact 6. In this pressing method, an IR thermometer 7 and an analyzer 8 are used to measure the temp. of the green compact 6 discharged from the mold or the mold. Further, the measured temp. is compared with the preset reference temp. in a press controller 9, and an outer die driver 4 and an upper punch driver 5 are controlled so that the temp. of the green compact or mold does not exceed the reference temp. Consequently, the lubricant in the hard powder is not softened or liquefied, the hard powder does not deposit on the mold, and the green compact is not burred or chipped.

摘要: PURPOSE: To conduct economical mixing by measuring power necessary for mixing and pulverization of raw material powder and feeding back the change to the mixing conditions in a method for mixing hard powder in which raw material hard powder, hard media, and liquid solvents are mixed and pulverized. CONSTITUTION: An open wet type mixer is composed of a stirring blade 1 with blades 2, hard media 3, a jacket 4, a cooling pipeline 5, and a heat exchanger 6. After paraffin which improves the compressibility of of raw material hard powder and powder after pelletization is fed into the mixer, a solvent is added so that the raw material hard powder, paraffin, and hard media 3 are immersed, and the stirring blade 1 is rotated by a motor M to conduct mixing. In this process, slurry is heated with the passage of time to reduce the viscosity so that the load of the motor M is reduced to reduce power consumption. Therefore, power necessary for the mixing and pulverization of raw material powder is measured, and the change is fed back to the process conditions to control the mixing conditions.

摘要: PURPOSE:To produce a granulated powder excellen in fluidity and to obtain an alloy high in dimensional precision without defects such as cavities from the granulated powder by spray-driving slurry consisting of an organic solvent and a raw powder such as cermet, thereby forming granulated powder having prescribed fluidity. CONSTITUTION:The slurry is prepared by mixing an organic solvent such as alcohol, hexane with a raw powder such as a cemented carbide or cermet. The density, viscosity and concn, of the slurry are adjusted to 10 to 50% in terms of the ratio to the true density of the powder, 10 to 500cps and 50 to 80wt.%, respectively. The slurry is granulated by spray-drying it into a granulated powder having 0.24 to 0.04sec/cc fluidity measured by using the measuring funnel whose orifice diameter is 8mm and other shapes are specified by JIS Z-2502.

摘要: PURPOSE:To join a sintered hard alloy and a sintered hard alloy for joining or these alloys and steel with high strength by specifying the ratio of the bond phase in the sintered hard alloy for joining of the composite material formed by diffusion joining the high-hardness sintered hard alloy and the sintered hard alloy for joining. CONSTITUTION:The high-hardness sintered hard alloy is obtd. by producing a disk- shaped press-molded product 2 consisting of ductile and tough sintered hard alloy powder 1 formed by mixing WC powder and Co powder having, for example, 5.0mu average grain size at 89% WC-11wt.% Co. This sintered hard alloy is sintered for one hour at 1400 deg.C in a vacuum sintering furnace. This plunger body 2 is inserted into a sintered hard alloy die 3 and the sintered hard alloy powder for joining which is a powder mixture composed of 60% WC-40% Co of the above-mentioned powders is laminated thereon at 15mm thickness and is pressurized under about 1ton/cm . The resultant combination body is taken out and is subjected to hot press sintering for one hour under 50kg/cm at 1250 deg.C in a vacuum atmosphere. The sintering is so executed that the ratio of the bond phase in the sintered hard alloy for joining is higher by 10 to 45wt.% than the ratio of the bond phase in the high-hardness sintered hard alloy at that time.

The objective powdery high speed steel is obtd., prior to the compacting of the base metal powder, by adding>=two kinds among the carbides or nitrides of Ta, Nb and Ti in a powdery state, mixing them, thereafter once subjecting the mixture to primary compacting by a hot press and subsequently executing sintering and hot hydrostatic compacting.
