    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic latch device which is useable for a spectrum analyzer or other devices where accurate signal switching is important and which ensures simple operation and high efficiency and in which friction between moving parts is negligible small by providing a core, a coil, a permanent magnet, and an armature. CONSTITUTION: This device comprises a magnetically conductive rod shaped core 14, a coil 30 wound around the core 14, a permanent magnet 50 in contact with the core 14, and an armature 80 magnetically coupled with the permanent magnet 50 and having ends 84, 86 formed to make contact with opposite ends of the core 14. The ends 84, 86 of the armature 80 are set to make contact with only any one end 18, 20 of the core 14. For example, once the coil 30 receives the opposite polarity electric pulse from the state where a gap between the ends 84 and 18 is formed, balance of latching force is reversed, and the armature 80 is moved to an opposite position to permit the end 86 of the armature 80 to make contact with the end 20 of the core 14. When no electric pulse is applied, a magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 50 keeps the armature 80 at a state where a finally applied pulse forms.

Magnetic flux phi3 is provided a magnetic path, through a yoke 28 vertical section 22a of the yoke 22 space C3 the moving-core 21 space B3 the yoke 28, by exciting of a coil 27 and phi1 is put upon phi3 at space B3 and space E3 is closed by means that the core 21 is moved in the W direction. This constitution unnecessitates a returning spring and makes it possible to decrease consumed electric power and to perform the operation at high speed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To freely adjust the load of rotary torque by utilizing a friction force generated electromagnetically between a permanent magnet and solenoid. CONSTITUTION:An iron core 5 is attracted by a permanent magnet 2 and is moved toward the surface of a bearing 3 under the condition that the power is not applied to a coil 7. Therefore, it is necessary for rotating a load shaft 1 to supply a larger rotating force to dominate a friction force due to a contact pressure generated between the end surface of iron core 5 and the end surface of bearing 3. A friction force increases by exciting the solenoid coil so that the magnetic flux in the same direction as that generated by the magnet 2 is generated and a larger rotating force is required for dominating such friction force. On the contrary, a friction force is reduced by exciting the solenoid coil so that the magnetic flux which cancels that generated by the magnet 2 is generated and finally the condition where friction is zero can be formed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive providing required output and reducing the outer diameter of a device by nearly equalizing the bore of a center yoke to the bore of a coil member and fitting the inner circumference of the center yoke on the outer circumference of a permanent magnet with a slight interval. CONSTITUTION:A center yoke 24 which provides two coil members 21, 21 fitting on inner circumferential steps 23, 23 which face with two bobbins 22, 22 has the bore which is nearly equal to the bore of the coil 21, i.e., the bore of the bobbin 22 and is installed on a permanent magnet 5 with an interval as small as possible. Outer yokes 25, 25 which constitute part of a magnetic circuit has the inner width nearly equal to the outer diameter of the coil member 21 and is also in contact with the outer flange of the center yoke 24 which has the equal width. This makes the interval between the coil members and the permanent magnet narrower and increases output whereby a required output can be provided and the outer diameter of a device can be reduced.
