PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated wire in which an insulating film including a plurality of layers is formed on a conductor and which is superior in adhesion between the conductor and the insulating film, and superior in adhesion between the layers in the insulating film without interposing an additional layer such as an adhesive layer, and has a high partial discharge starting voltage. SOLUTION: The insulated wire has an insulating film including a plurality of layers formed on a conductor, and the insulating film has a first film layer in which a first resin composition in which a grafting compound is graft polymerized with ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer is formed immediately on the conductor and a second film layer in which a second resin composition which is a polymer alloy including polyphenylene sulfide resin and a polyamide resin, or a polymer alloy including polyether-ether ketone resin and a polyamide resin is formed immediately over the first film layer. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectangular enameled wire and a method of manufacturing the same which can enlarge a surface area of the rectangular enameled wire obtained by rolling a round enameled wire, and can reduce difficulty in a current flow caused by a skin effect. SOLUTION: A plurality of round enameled wires 110 each of which is formed by forming an enamel coating 101 on a conductor 100 are joined. The joined round enameled wires 110 are made to press from above and below. Each conductor 100 is formed into a divided rectangular conductor 100d. Partial discharge resistant insulating lacquer comprises: a polyamide-imide-enamel lacquer and an organo-silica-sol that is dispersed in a solvent comprising 50-100 wt.% of gamma -butyrolactone. Independent claims are included for: (1) an insulated wire comprising a conductor, and a partial discharge resistant insulating cover film, which is formed on the surface of the conductor, where the partial discharge resistant insulating cover film is made of partial discharge resistant insulating lacquer; (2) the preparation of partial discharge resistant insulating lacquer; and (3) the preparation of the insulated wire comprising: preparing the partial discharge resistant insulating lacquer and coating the partial discharge resistant insulating lacquer on the surface of a conductor and then burning of the lacquer in order to form a cover film on the conductor.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectangular shaped stranded wire which can be manufactured at high speed by suppressing generation of crossover between the stranded wires and a gap between the stranded wires, without increasing a material and the manufacturing process to constitute the rectangular shaped stranded wires, and a manufacturing method of the rectangular shaped stranded wires. SOLUTION: The rectangular shaped stranded wire 10 comprises a first layer in which a first prescribed number of wire rods are stranded and a second layer which is arranged at the outside of the first layer and in which a second prescribed number of wire rods larger than the first prescribed number are stranded. Each of wire rods of the first layer and the second layer has different processing ratios of the outer circumference on the processing side and the outer circumference on the opposite side to the processing side outer circumference, thereby, crossover between each wire rods and the gap between the each wire rods are reduced. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provided a varnish coating device and a method for coating varnish linearly coating the varnish with no problem, even if using a varnish curing in a short time. SOLUTION: A first varnish 11 supplied from a first varnish tank 12 and a second varnish 13 supplied from a second varnish tank 14 are mixed by a mixer 15, and supplied to a varnish bath 18. Coating dies 19A-19F are connected to the varnish bath 18 via tubes 20A-20F. A wire 3 is installed into the coating dies 19A-19F through a hole 20a provided in each of the tubes 20A-20F. The varnish 2 supplied to the varnish bath 18 is fluidized and dropped by its self weight through the tubes 20A-20F, and continuously supplied to the coating dies 19A-19F. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation coating applying and baking device of a conductive wire capable of increasing the number of times of application and baking while using a baking furnace identical to a conventional one. SOLUTION: A plurality of entry-side turn pulleys 15 and a plurality of exit-side turn pulleys 11 are arranged on the lower side and upper side of a baking furnace 22, respectively; conductive wires 26 are wound between the upper and lower turn pulleys 11 and 15 to allow them to sequentially move between the upper and lower turn pulleys 11 and 15; an insulation coating is continuously applied to the conductive wires 26 extending from the entry-side pulleys 15 to the exit-side pulleys 11; and the conductive wires are made to pass through dies 23 each having a predetermined hole diameter and made to pass the baking furnace 22 to uniformly bake the applied insulation coating. The dies 23 are arranged by gathering them in a zigzag form in a plan view; and the upper and lower turn pulleys 11 and 15 are arranged such that the arrangement of the turn pulleys 11 and 15 and contacts 29 of the conductive wires 26 is formed into a zigzag form in line with the arrangement of the zigzag dies 23.
