    摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer for food materials enabling a rotary container to stop surely and highly precisely and suitable for preparing salad, sushi rice, etc., by providing a driving means with a worm-engaging structure at an appropriate position of a transmitting means for transmitting the rotation of a motor to the rotary container. SOLUTION: This mixer is provided with a driving means 4 enabling the rotation of a rotary container around a rotary shaft which tilts against the shaft line of the rotary container and a blower means 5 capable of blowing air into the rotary container at the site where the rotary shaft crosses the rotary container 2. The driving means 4 is provided with a worm-engaging structure at an appropriate position of a transmitting means 54 for transmitting the rotation of a motor 50 to the rotary container. Further, the driving means 4 is preferably provided with a rotary ring placed having the rotary shaft as the center, against the outer periphery of the rotary container and in an orthogonal state to the direction of the diameter of the rotary shaft, and plural driving rings made able to be circumscribed about the rotary ring for transmitting rotary power to the rings.
