Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition improved in silica's reactivity and dispersibility as compared with relevant well-known technologies, making low rolling resistance and high braking performance on the wet road surfaces compatible with each other and improved in processability as well, and to provide pneumatic tires using the same. SOLUTION: The rubber composition is provided, being obtained by compounding 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber with 20-120 pts.mass of silica ≥155 m 2 /g in BET specific surface area and 3-15 mass%, based on the silica, of a silane coupling agent, and also 0.2-8.0 pts.mass of a specific pyrithione compound such as zinc pyrithione. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress changes with time of the rubber when a rubber-steel cord composite to be used as the reinforcing material of a pneumatic tire or the like is stored in an unvulcanized state, and thereby to suppress reduction in adhesiveness of the composite after vulcanization and to improve adhesiveness of the vulcanized rubber-steel cord composite after wet-heat aging. SOLUTION: A rubber composition for coating a steel cord is provided, which is produced by compounding N-t-butyl-2-benzothiazole sulfenimide and a metal alkane dithiol expressed by general formula (1):M 2+ [S-(CH 2 ) m -S] 2- into a diene rubber component. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride resin molded article excellent in heat resistance and durability. SOLUTION: A post-chlorinated crosslinkable polyvinyl chloride resin is obtained by post-chlorination of a crosslinkable vinyl chloride resin which is obtained by copolymerization of 100 pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride monomer and 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a vinyl silane compound represented by formula: CH 2 =CH-SiR n X 3-n (wherein R is hydrogen or 1-3C alkyl, X is 1-3C alkoxy, n is an integer from 0 to 2) and has a polymerization degree of 500-900.
