Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous dispersion of an organic-inorganic hybrid resin, a curable resin composition, a coating material which can form a curing coating film which is excellent in exposure stain resistance and corrosion resistance, and to provide a coated article. SOLUTION: The aqueous dispersion of the organic-inorganic hybrid resin is obtained by modifying a polymer (A) having an acid group and/or a neutralized acid group and a hydrolyzable silyl group and/or silanol group by a titanosiloxane compound (B) having a titanium atom-bonded alkoxy group and/or a silicon atom-bonded alkoxy group to obtain a titanosiloxane-modified polymer (AB) having the neutralized acid group and the hydrolyzable silyl group and/or silanol group, and dispersing the obtained titanosiloxane-modified polymer in an aqueous medium and hydrolytically condensing alkoxyl groups of the titanosiloxane-modified polymer dispersed in the aqueous medium. The curable resin composition contains the aqueous dispersion of the organic-inorganic hybrid resin and a curing agent (C). The coating material contains the curable resin composition. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for forming a hydrophilic film and useful for forming a hydrophilic film having excellent stainproofness and antifogging property and good abrasion resistance, and to provide a hydrophilic member having a hydrophilic film formed with the hydrophilic film forming composition and exhibiting excellent stainproofness, antifogging property and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: The composition for forming a hydrophilic film contains a hydrophilic polymer (A) having hydrolyzable silyl groups on both terminals of the polymer and containing a monomer having a hydrophilic functional group in an amount of ≥50 mol% in the total monomer constituting the polymer.
