Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a variation in temperature and a variation in voltage when heating a secondary battery. SOLUTION: A control part 26 raises a temperature by operating a heater 36 when a temperature of the secondary battery 30 is lower than a prescribed lower-limit temperature. The variation ΔT in the temperature after heating or the variation ΔV in the voltage of an open circuit is calculated, and these variations are compared with a prescribed tolerable threshold in magnitude. When the variation ΔT in the temperature or the variation ΔV in the voltage exceeds the tolerable threshold, the control part 26 instructs the heater 36 to stop the heating or to reduce a heating calorific value, and thus uniformizes the temperatures.
