Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate terahertz waves having equal characteristics in a plurality of directions.SOLUTION: Excitation light generated by a KTP-OPO 20 is made incident from a side of a first plane 12a to an optical crystal 12 via mirrors 26b, 26a, an unwanted light cut filter 28 and an off-axis parabolic mirror 26c. A terahertz wave THzis generated from a second plane 12b, excitation light transmitted through the optical crystal 12 and reflected by a concave mirror 26d is made incident from a side of the second plane 12b to the optical crystal 12, and a terahertz wave THzis generated from the first plane 12a. The terahertz waves THz, THzreflected by off-axis parabolic mirrors 32a, 32b, respectively, are transmitted through arrangement sections 40a, 40b, reflected by parabolic mirrors 42a, 42b and made incident to detectors 50a, 50b.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe for detecting mutation which makes it possible to easily detect mutation in anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) gene, particularly ALK (L1196M) variant and ALK (C1156Y) variant.SOLUTION: A probe for detecting mutation is at least one fluorescence-labeled oligonucleotide selected from the group of specific base sequences. A method of detecting mutation comprises (I) contacting the probe for detecting mutation and single strand nucleic acids in a sample, thereby hybridizing the fluorescence-labeled oligonucleotide and the single strand nucleic acids, and obtaining hybrids, (II) dissociating the hybrids by changing the temperature of the sample containing the hybrids and measuring the variation of fluorescent signal based on dissociation of the hybrids, (III) measuring Tm value as a dissociation temperature of the hybrids based on the variation of fluorescent signal, and (IV) detecting the presence of mutations in ALK gene in the single strand nucleic acids in the sample based on the Tm value.
