    摘要: A process for sealing an oxidized aluminium or aluminium alloy surface comprising sealing the surface in the presence of a sealing agent to hinder the formation of a smut layer, the agent being the reaction product of one or more sulphonated aromatic compounds with an aldehyde and/or dimethylolurea or a mixture of formaldehyde and urea. A novel composition comprising the reaction product above and a cobalt or nickel salt may also be used as the above mentioned sealing agent.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To form a thick black film which has good appearance and is excellent in weather resistance on the surfaces of titanium and titanium alloy by performing anodically oxidizing treatment on these surfaces and thereafter heat-treating the formed oxidized film at specified temp. in the reductive atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:Anodically oxidizing treatment is performed on the surfaces of titanium and titanium alloy to form a gray-based oxidized film. Then this oxidized film is heat-treated at least at >=600 deg.C in the reductive atmosphere. As this reductive atmosphere, the gaseous atmosphere such as NH3, CO and NO is utilized. The oxidized film made of TiO2 which has been formed by the anodically oxidizing treatment is reduced to low order titanium oxide such as TiO and Ti3O5 by the above-mentioned heat treatment. Thereby the black film which has good appearance and is excellent in weathering properties is formed on the surfaces of titanium and titanium alloy.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To enhance close adhesion between a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer by forming an anodized film prescribed in thickness on the surface of the substrate made of Al and immersing it into an aq. soln. capable of dissolving this film to enlarge the inside diameters of pores to a prescribed pore proportion. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the conductive substrate of an Al cylinder or the like is mirror finished and cleaned of grease and fat, and anodized to form an anodized film. This film is immersed into an aq. soln. of 15% sulfuric acid at a temp. of 25 deg.C for about 30min to enlarge the inside diameter of the pores to adjust the opening proportion of the pores to >=20% of the total area. After water washing and drying, the photosensitive layer is formed on the anodized and treated surface of the Al substrate, thus permitting the photosensitive layer to be greatly enhanced in adhesion to the substrate, prevented from floating up and peeling and the like during the treatment step and also after manufacturing it, and the electrophotographic sensitive body superior in electric characteristics, high in resolution, and good in durability to be obtained with high yield.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To subject aluminum having an anodized film to a surface whitening treatment to a good hue by electrolyzing the aluminum in a soln. contg. calcium salt, etc. and bringing the resultant product of electrolysis into reaction with a suitable material thereby forming a white compd. CONSTITUTION:Aluminum or aluminum alloy having an anodized film is subjected to an electrolysis of DC, AC or the waveform having the same effect as the effect of said currents in a soln. contg. >=1 among calcium salt, magnesium salt, barium salt, strontium salt, zinc salt, lead salt, titanium salt and aluminum salt to intrude the resultant product consisting of said salt into the fine pores of the anodized film. The anodized film is thereafter immersed in a soln. contg. a material to form a white to grayish white color by reacting with the above-mentioned product to form the white to grayish white color material in the fine pores of the anodized film, by which the surface of the aluminum or the alloy thereof is whitened.
