SOLUTION: A pump chamber 5, a melting chamber 6, a holding chamber 8 and a pumping chamber 9 are formed in adjacent to a heating chamber 4 by partitioning the inside of a molten metal vessel 1 capable of reserving the molten metal by partitioning walls 2, 3, 7, 10. A material charging port 27 is formed on the melting chamber, the heating chamber and the holding chamber are provided with immersion-type heat sources 31, 32, 33, the pump chamber is provided with a circulating pump 17, and a ceramic filter 16 is mounted on an outflow port 14 formed on the partition wall 3 between the heating chamber and the holding chamber. Further the molten metal heated by the immersion-type heat source is forcibly circulated to the melding chamber by the action of the circulating pump in the heating chamber to melt the metallic material 28 charged into the melting chamber, and the molten metal in the heating chamber is allowed to flow into the pumping chamber from the holding chamber through the ceramic filter.
