Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system, receiver, and transmitter, for reducing the operating time of a reception circuit of the receiver even if there is a clock error between the transmitter and receiver, thereby reducing power consumption. SOLUTION: In a conventional method as shown in Fig.1(A), the receiver is started earlier by a time Tm and synchronization is established before a clock error in the receiver does not exceed the time Tm, so that excessive reception time is required for clock synchronization, thereby hindering a reduction in power consumption in the receiver. As shown in Fig.1(B), a synchronization signal is sent several times in succession in a short time from the transmitter, and the receiver receives only one synchronization signal transmitted in succession. Consequently, reference clocks can be synchronized by starting the receiving operation of the receiver earlier only by a time Tm' (Tm'≤Tm). COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic data processing device capable of precisely calculating the pivot of an azimuth sphere without burdening a user.SOLUTION: A magnetic data processing device 1 obtains a plurality of detection values of a magnetic vector M (earth magnetism) using a three-axis magnetic sensor 2. The magnetic data processing device 1 calculates the rotation axis A of a rotation when determining that a detection value group d composed of the plurality of detection values is obtained while posture of a portable apparatus 10 is made to rotate about one axis. Then, using the detection value group d obtained during a plurality of different posture change periods, the device 1 calculates a plurality of rotation axes. An intersection point or an approximate intersection point of obtained plurality of rotation axes are calculated as the pivot O' of an azimuth sphere s.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method guaranteeing communication timing when switching a communication system in a multiplex transmission line.SOLUTION: A communication method for switching a communication system in a multiplex transmission line having a plurality of connected nodes includes: in each node, each time a communication time set to the communication system elapses in each node (S1, S2), transmitting a switchover signal to the multiplex transmission line (S5); in each node, switching a communication system, based on the switchover signal (S7, S9); in each node, determining whether or not the self-node can be made to sleep (S3); based on the determination result, determining whether or not the switchover signal can be transmitted (S4); in the case sleep is not possible, transmitting a switchover signal (S5); in the case sleep is possible, shifting the self-node to a sleep mode without transmitting the switchover signal, when the self-node does not transmit the switchover signal in a switchover signal transmission section and when the self-node does not receive a switchover signal from another node (S12).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anomalous magnetism detector issuing a warning when abnormal magnetism operates on a magnetic sensor, and to provide a magnetic gyro and an electronic compass using the anomalous magnetism detector. SOLUTION: The anomalous magnetism detector includes: a three-axis magnetic sensor 21 for detecting each vector component in terrestrial magnetism vectors in three-axis directions crossing orthogonally one another; an absolute value calculation means 11 for calculating an absolute value of a terrestrial magnetism vector from the vector components; a high-frequency component extraction means 12 for extracting a magnetic high-frequency component of which the frequency is higher than a predetermined value from the absolute value of the terrestrial magnetism vector; a magnetic stability determining means 13 for determining that the three-axis magnetic sensor 21 has detected anomalous magnetism when the magnetic high-frequency component has exceeded a predetermined tolerance; and a warning signal output means 14 for outputting a warning signal when it is determined that the three-axis magnetic sensor 21 has detected anomalous magnetism.
