PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of preventing the oxidation of liquid without changing characteristics of the liquid to a large extent and an oxidation preventing member.SOLUTION: The container 5 capable of housing the liquid has a site 3 containing a silicate mineral. The site 3 containing the silicate mineral may be a layer 3 arranged in the inside or the outside of the container 5 and containing the silicate mineral. Alternatively, the container 5 may contain the silicate mineral in the inside of a wall constituting the same. Alternatively, the container 5 may have a first chamber housing the liquid and a second chamber housing the silicate mineral.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel having a hydrogen generating function, with which hydrogen can be efficiently added to a liquid material such as a face lotion contained inside the vessel, and to provide a hydrogen addition method which uses such a vessel having the hydrogen generating function.SOLUTION: In a vessel having a hydrogen generating function to add hydrogen to a liquid material contained inside the vessel, and in a hydrogen addition method, the vessel is equipped with a hydrogen generating layer including metallic magnesium or magnesium oxide as a hydrogen generating agent in a resin on an entire or partial area of an inside surface of the vessel and a surface of a nozzle arranged on the inside of the vessel, or on the entire or partial area of either of them.
