Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of preventing the oxidation of liquid without changing characteristics of the liquid to a large extent and an oxidation preventing member.SOLUTION: The container 5 capable of housing the liquid has a site 3 containing a silicate mineral. The site 3 containing the silicate mineral may be a layer 3 arranged in the inside or the outside of the container 5 and containing the silicate mineral. Alternatively, the container 5 may contain the silicate mineral in the inside of a wall constituting the same. Alternatively, the container 5 may have a first chamber housing the liquid and a second chamber housing the silicate mineral.
