    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milling method for automatic machining of a cuboid workpiece, which can be automated and can machine six side faces or all side faces of the workpiece very high accuracy. SOLUTION: A cuboid blank material with marginal dimensions in each of six side faces is fixed by two opposing side faces by using two opposing fixing devices 6, 7 movable to the axis 8 of motion.
