Abstract: When a vehicle is rear-ended and a seated user moves rearward in reaction to the rear-end collision, a load generated by a rearward movement of a lumbar part of the seated user is sufficiently transmitted from a pressure plate (10a; 20c) of operating force generating means (10) to an operating force generating mechanism (10B), regardless of an amount of rearward tilting of a seat back (3). Then, a pressure roller (10P) serving as a driven member of the operating force generating mechanism (10B) largely deflects and sufficiently pulls inner cables (11B, 11B) of respective pulling cable devices (11, 11), thereby smoothly moving both end portions of a headrest frame (7) upward. As a result, the headrest frame (7) is moved upward smoothly and reliably, and a headrest (4) is moved in an upward-forward direction, that is, toward the head of the seated user smoothly and reliably.

Abstract: When a vehicle is rear-ended and a seated user moves rearward in reaction to the rear-end collision, a load generated by a rearward movement of a lumbar portion of the seated user is transmitted from a pressure plate (10A) of operating force generating means (10) to an operating force generating mechanism (10B). Then, a pressure roller of the operating force generating mechanism (10B) deflects and pulls inner cables of pulling cable devices (11, 11), thereby moving both end portions of a headrest frame (7) upward. As a result, the headrest frame (7) is moved upward along with headrest supporting brackets (7C, 7C) smoothly and reliably, whereby a headrest (4) attached to the headrest supporting brackets (7C, 7C) with headrest stays (4A, 4A) arranged between the headrest (4) and the respective headrest supporting brackets (7C, 7C) is moved in the upward-forward direction, that is, toward the head of the seated user smoothly and reliably.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat capable of securely operating a speed-increasing unit quickly at the time of collision. SOLUTION: The vehicular seat is equipped with a headrest driving mechanism for operating the headrest, a pressure receiving member 70, and the speed-increasing unit 79 which increases the speed of moving of the pressure receiving member 70 and drives it to the direction pulling a wire 44. The speed-increasing unit 79 has a link mechanism 83 composed of a pair of arms 81, 82, a guide pulley 97 rotatably provided at the lower end part of the arm 82, and a guide hole 100 guiding the moving of the guide pulley 97, or the like. The pressure receiving member 70 is provided with a protruding part 71 at the position opposed to a roller 95. The tapered surface 72 is formed on the protrusion part 71. The upper part side of the tapered surface 72 is projected to the roller 95 side than the lower part side. When the pressure receiving member 70 is moved backward, the downward component force F1 is generated at the abutting part to the roller by abutting of the tapered surface 72 to the roller 95. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for a vehicle capable of actuating a headrest quickly in the event of collision. SOLUTION: A headrest driving mechanism 70 installed in a seat back 12 is equipped with a long hole bracket 51 having a guide hole 50, a sliding member 58 movable along the guide hole 50 between the first and the second position, a pressure receiving member 67, an engaging member 75 having a hook part 81, and a tensile spring 77. The engaging member 75 has a hook part 81 which is able to restrain the sliding member 58 in the first position. The tensile spring 77 energizes the sliding member 58 toward the second position. When the occupant pushes the pressure receiving member 67 backward to cause the hook part 81 to be set off from the sliding member 58, the member 58 moves along the guide hole 50 toward the second position owing to the tension of the spring 77, and the headrest body 14 inclines to the front while it moves upward. To constitute the pressing means, a wire 44 connected to the slide member 58 is obliquely extended to the upper side part 50c side by forming an angle α1 with the upper side part 50c of the guide hole 50.
