Abstract: An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a sheet including: a housing; a cassette detachably accommodated in the housing and configured to store the sheet; a feeding unit configured to feed the sheet; and an image forming unit configured to form the image on the sheet fed by the feeding unit, wherein the cassette includes: a first wall along the trailing edge, a second wall along the leading edge, a first bottom plate extending from the first wall toward the second wall, a second bottom plate extending from the second wall toward the first wall, and a connecting member configured to set a first state where the first and second bottom plates are connected and a second state where the first and second bottom plates are disconnected, and the first and second bottom plates in the second state are independently withdrawable from the housing.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeder with a long service life providing a stable conveyance by prohibiting reduction of a friction force on the surface of a porous adsorption belt, and an image forming device equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The paper feeder 20 of the image forming device 100 includes a paper storage portion 21, a feeder 40 equipped with a paper feeding belt 43 and a suction device 50, a second paper feed roller 44, a paper separation device 60, a first separation device 70, and a detection sensor 55. The topmost paper P' stored in the paper storage portion 21 is sucked and conveyed by the paper feeding belt 43, rotation of the paper feeding belt 43 stops and the paper P' is separated from the paper feeding belt 43 by the first separation device 70 as soon as a front edge of the paper P' is detected by the detection sensor 55, and the separation by the first separation device 70 is released and the paper feeding belt 43 is rotated when a rear end of the paper P' passes through a paper sucking area S of the paper feeding belt 43.
