PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape capable of connecting carrier tapes brought face to face adequately and also capable of taking out components well at a tape connected part.SOLUTION: A method for connecting carrier tapes 1 is provided by pasting an adhesive tape 6, in which the width is formed wider than the width of the carrier tapes 1, the whole reverse surface is formed as an adhesive surface, and through-holes 7 at a constant pitch are formed along one side, on the surface of a position brought face to face in the carrier tapes 1, arranged as face to face so that the perforations 5 of the carrier tapes 1 are coincide with the through-holes 7, and the adhesive tape 6 protruding from the side t at the other direction of the carrier tapes 1 is pasted by tucking it to the reverse surface side of the carrier tapes 1.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier tape connecting device capable of performing sure and strong connection, by easily and surely sticking a pressure sensitive adhesive tape from both surfaces of the obverse-reverse, in a connecting part including mutual end parts of a butted carrier tape.SOLUTION: A carrier tape connecting device includes a sticking table 22 for placing and holding a carrier tape of butting mutual end parts in a positioned state, and a sticking mechanism 23 for pressing a pressure sensitive adhesive tape wider than the carrier tape placed in a connecting place of the carrier tape held by the sticking table 22 to a surface of the carrier tape and pressing the pressure sensitive adhesive tape protruded from the carrier tape to a carrier tape reverse surface by folding back along the side edge of the carrier tape.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for a battery which exhibits slight adhesiveness at room temperature so that temporary fixing is possible and excellent adhesiveness through thermocompression bonding, does not peel off from an adherend even in an electrolytic solution, and is less likely to cause deterioration of the electrolytic solution.SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for a battery contains a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on at least one surface of a substrate. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a thickness from 2 μm to 100 μm. The 180° peeling adhesive force toward an aluminum foil after pressure bonding at 25°C is 0.05 N/10 mm or more, and the 180° peeling adhesive force toward an aluminum foil after thermocompression bonding at or above 30°C below 200°C is 0.5 N/10 mm or more. In preferred embodiments, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains a thermoplastic elastomer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for a battery, capable of preventing penetration of foreign substances, burrs, or the like into a separator, preventing stripping-off of an active material, and improving insertion competence of an electrode into a battery case, without causing the lowering of battery characteristics.SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape of the present invention is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for a battery, having an adhesive layer on at least one side of a base material and used inside a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. The pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has: a thickness change ratio of 20% or less after immersion in a mixed solvent of ethylene carbonate/diethyl carbonate [former/latter (volume ratio)=1/1] at 60°C for 8 hours; and a 180° peeling adhesive strength (against aluminum foil, peel temperature: 25°C, and peel speed: 300 mm/minute) of 0.5 N/10 mm or more after the immersion.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-adhesive tape for a battery, which is adhered to polar plates or the like in order to prevent short circuit between electrodes, and can control deterioration of electrolyte solution caused by protrusion of binder from the substrate.SOLUTION: A self-adhesive tape for a battery is obtained by laminating a self-adhesive layer on at least one surface of the substrate, where the self-adhesive layer is laminated by 0.5 mm or more inward from edge parts on both ends of the substrate; self-adhering force for 180° peeling of the self-adhesive tape at 23°C is 0.1 N/10 mm or more; and when the self-adhesive layer surface is pasted on a bakelite plate (pasted area: 10 mm×20 mm), and 500 g load is applied at 40°C for 1 hour, the displacement distance is 0.2 mm or less.
