    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact deodorizing sterilizer deodorizing and sterilizing indoor air. SOLUTION: This deodorizing sterilizer is provided with a casing part 14 formed into a cylindrical shape with a closed bottom, having an introduction port 16 introducing an indoor air opened in a side surface and a delivery port 18 delivering the air after deodorization and sterilization opened in the upper part and an inner cylinder 24 stored inside the casing and communicating with the delivery port in the upper part. The inside of the inner cylinder 24 is provided with a heater part 36 heating the indoor air introduced in the inner cylinder from the bottom part side, a deodorizing/sterilizing part 38 deodorizing and sterilizing the indoor air heated by the heater part by a catalysis and a cylinder part 42 provided connected to the deodorizing/sterilizing part; and serially disposed with heat exchangers 40 which exchanges the heat mutually by allowing the indoor air introduced in the inner cylinder 24 to flow down outside the cylinder part and allowing the air deodorized/sterilized by the deodorizing/sterilizing part to rise the inside and delivers the deodorized/sterilized air from the upper part of the inner cylinder via the delivery port. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger comprises a cylindrical part 12 formed in a cylindrical shape and heat exchanging fins 14a, 14c, 16a provided on an outside 12a of the cylindrical part 12. It is formed of a metal material for heat exchange between fluid such as air passing through an inside 12b of the cylindrical part 12 and that passing through the outside 12a thereof.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device having high deodorizing performance, which is suitably made compact or can increase the amount of treated air by a device with a predetermined size. SOLUTION: The deodorizing device is equipped with an air-blowing means (B), a heating part 22 for heating polluted air which is sent by the air-blowing means, an oxidation catalyst part 24 provided at the downstream of the heating part 22 and deodorizing the heated polluted air by the catalytic activity, and heat exchanging parts 31 and 32 which absorbs the heat of the cleaned air exhausted through an oxidation catalyst part 24 and give the heat to the polluted air to be sucked into the device. The heat exchanging parts 31 and 32 are vertically separated across deodorizing part 20 in which the heating part 22 and the oxidation catalyst part 24 are arranged as a set.
