Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for staining a nervous tissue, combining staining using a fluorescent stain with immunostaining. SOLUTION: A method for promoting the infiltration of a protein, such as an antibody, specifically binding to a target substance into a tissue stained with a fluorescent dye, includes a process for contacting the tissue stained with the fluorescent dye with a cholesterol-specific surfactant such as digitonin or quillaja saponin, and is characterized by being performed before and/or during the exposure of the tissue stained with the fluorescent dye to the protein specifically binding to the target substance.
