    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the sensitivity of response of control by a method wherein the proportional component is added again or the time constant of the integral componet is changed in the case where a rich or lean condition of fuel-air ratio has continued for the time longer than the predetermined time period, in a controller for fuel-air ratio of an internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:The signal from an O2 sensor 5 is amplified by an operational amplifier 11, converted into a trigger signal by the signals from rectangular-wave oscillators 12, 13; the trigger signal is inputted into AND gates 21, 22, 23 and into NAND gates 20, 24, 25 through inverters 17, 18, and controls the driving circuit 16 for a stepper motor 6 so as to conduct feedback control on the fuel-air ratio of the fuel-air mixture fed to the engine. In this case, when the output of the O2 sensor 5 remain in the rich or lean condition for a long time period, the count value of a counter 15 increases proportionally, causing the stepper motor 6 to perform the reverse movement.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the circulation rate of hot water between a separate boiler and a bathtub, by starting a pump in association with the igntion of the separate boiler thereby the hot water in the bathtub is forcibly circulated through the separate boiler. CONSTITUTION:When water is required to be heated, a main burner 403 is ignited by operating a burner ignition switch 401 attached to the bath boiler body 400 or a remote switch 402 for the bathroom, and an operation detecting switch 300 is actuated to start the pump body 200. As a result the water in the bathtub 100 is sucked from a convection pipe inlet 102, flows through the pump body 200, is heated at a heat receiving part 500 by the main burner 403, flows out via a convection pipe outlet 103 into the bathtub 100, and is then diffused by the diffusion plate 104. According to the present invention, the flow rate of the low temperature water flowed into the heat receiving part pipe from the bottom part of the bathtub is increased, and as the water flow is forcibly circulated to allow the state of the flow to be transition or turbulent state, the thermal efficiency can be improved.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put a plurality of storage boxes on a guide passage and move the storage boxes on the guide passage by turning them on a non-rotating plate so as to move the selected storage box upward or downward. SOLUTION: A boss part 7 of an arm device 6 is substantially vertically arranged at a central position of the guide passage and storage region, a plurality of rotary arms 8 are substantially horizontally fixed on the side of the boss part 7, and a guide rail 10 is fixed in the side part of each rotary arm 8. An engaging piece is arranged in a side part of each storage box 3, and the engaging pieces of a plurality of storage boxes 3 put on the guide passage are engaged with the guide rail 10 of the rotary arm 8. When each storage box 3 turns and moves on the guide passage due to the rotation of the arm device 6 and the selected storage box 3 is positioned at a stand-by position, the selected storage box 3 is moved to an inlet and an outlet apart in the vertical direction.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a storage case in a guideway on a nonrotating plate and move it below the guideway and storage area. SOLUTION: The boss portion 6A of an arm device 6 is arranged nearly vertically in the center of a guideway and a storage area, and a plurality of rotation arms 6B is fixed nearly horizontally to the side of the boss portion 6A of the arm device 6. Loosening off prevention devices 6C projecting toward both sides are arranged at the front end of each rotation arm 6B, and a plurality of storage cases 3A to 3D are mounted in a protection area on the guideway, formed by the two rotation arms 6B and the loosening off prevention devices 6C. By the rotation of the arm device 6, each of the storage cases 3A to 3D is moved, turning clockwise or counterclockwise, and selected storage cases are moved to a doorway below, when the selected storage cases 3A to 3D are in a waiting position below.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts and economically manufacture an air-fuel ratio controller by using a one-shot multiple circuit instead of a counter circuit when controlling the air-fuel ratio of mixture to match a set point based on the signals of an exhaust gas sensor. CONSTITUTION:An air-fuel ratio controller drives a stepping motor type actuator 7 by using the drive pulse signals produced by a control circuit section 8 based on the signals of an exhaust gas sensor 5 and controls the air-fuel ratio to match a set point. In this case, the control circuit section 8 is provided with resistor R6, condenser C4, and one-shot multiple circuit MVC consisting of one-shot multiple vibrator MV, which perform each output only for a fixed output time whenever the size relationship of the detected value of the sensor 5 to its set point. It is also provided with frequency select circuit FS which changes the frequency of the said drive pulse signals into the high frequency for the fixed output time and to the low frequency immediately before the subsequent output time following each output time.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the amount of NOx produced at the time of low-load and high- load operation of an engine by means of air-fuel ratio controlling system in which the amount of bleed-air to carburetor is feedback controlled by use of a signal from an exhaust-gas sensor, by controlling to make mixture richer during the while when the signal from the exhaust-gas sensor indicates that the actual air-fuel ratio is higher than an aimed air-fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary air-bleed passage 12 having electromagnetic valve 7 is communicated to main and slow-speed fuel passages of carburetor 6 for controlling the air-fuel ratio. On the other hand, signals from sensor 10 for detecting partial vacuum in the intake pipe, intake pressure sensor 11 and exhaust-gas sensor 3 are afforded to control circuit 9 for controlling the opening of electromagnetic valve 7, so as to attain an optimal efficiency of ternary ctalyst 4 in exhaut pipe 2. In the control circuit 9, the actual air-fuel ratio calculated from the above signals is compared with an aimed air-fuel ratio. The control circuit 9 is operated to make the time change of the integration signal greater (that is, to make the aimed air-fuel ratio smaller) during the while when air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas is greater than the aimed air-fuel ratio. This period corresponds to low- and high-load operation of engine, and the system operates to reduce the amount of NOx produced in this period.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve re-accelerating performance of an internal combustion engine, by preventing over-enriching of air-fuel mixture by connecting an atmosphere inlet pipe to a suction pipe of the engine in the vicinity of the inlet to a cylinder, and providing valves for opening or closing either one of the atmosphere inlet pipe and the suction pipe to introduce atmosphere from the atmosphere inlet pipe at the time of decelerating the engine. CONSTITUTION:An atmosphere inlet pipe 7 is connected to a suction pipe 2 of an engine 1 in the vicinity of the inlet to a cylinder. Further, a suction pipe shut- off valve 8 and an atmosphere inlet pipe shut-off valve 9 are provided for opening or closing either one of the atmosphere inlet pipe 7 and the suction pipe 2. A control circuit 11 is furnished with output signals of a throttle switch 12 and an ignitor 13 and also furnished with an idle opening signal of a throttle valve. When an engine-speed signal higher than a prescribed value is applied to the control circuit 11, judgement is made that the engine is under deceleration, and the control circuit 11 applies a signal to a electromagnetic solenoid 10 to shut off supply of air-fuel mixture by closing the valve 8 and to introduce atmosphere by opening the valve 9. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to retain air-fuel mixture when the accelerator pedal is released, to lower the specific fuel consumption and to improve the re-accelerating performance of the engine.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To conduct an idling operation properly by stopping the control of fuel air ratio during idling operation, in a device for controlling the fuel-air ratio at the carburetor by the closed-loop control system. CONSTITUTION:The main and slow air bleeds 1-1, 1-3 of a carburetor are opened and closed by a stepper motor type actuator 9. The opening and the closing of the air bleeds are controlled by a controller 10 which is fed with the signal from an O2 sensor 6 provided in an exhaust system 4 comprising a three-component catalyst unit 7 and also with the signal from a sensor 8 detecting the idle position of a throttle valve 1-4. During idling of the engine, the function of the controller 10 is stopped by the signal from the idle sensor 8, whereby the engine is operated at an ordinary idle fuel-air ratio.
