    Abstract: 物品仕分けシステム(100)は、複数の搬送ロボット(20)と、物品を保管し、ロボットが搬送する複数の商品棚であって、商品棚エリアにおいて複数の行/列の商品棚行列を形成し、空の行/列(60)が搬送ロボット(20)の通路を構成し、少なくとも一部の商品棚(30)が何れの通路にも隣接せずに他の商品棚に囲まれる詰まり商品棚であり、これ以外の商品棚が通行商品棚である商品棚(30)と、商品棚エリアにおいて、ある詰まり商品棚の状態を通行商品棚に変更するように、制御システム(10)からの指示に基づいて商品棚(30)を移動することができる商品棚移動ロボット(40)と、ワークステーション(50)と、処理待ちの注文に関わる仕分け待ちの物品が詰まり商品棚に関するか否かを判断して識別し、詰まり商品棚に関すれば、搬出ポリシーを決定し、搬出ポリシーに応じて商品棚(30)を移動するように商品棚移動ロボット(40)を指示するように構成される制御システム(10)とを備える。物品の保管密度を向上させ、物理空間を十分に利用し、要求を満たす仕分け効率を保持することができる。
