Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for waste water disposal which very efficiently disposes of a large amount of waste water containing various kinds of organic matter discharged from actual operations.SOLUTION: The apparatus for waste water disposal includes a treatment tank 1 in which waste water containing organic matter is treated, an ozone oxidation means which turns the organic matter included in the waste water in the treatment tank 1 into carbonyl compounds on oxidation with ozone, a solid-liquid separation means which precipitates the carbonyl compounds obtained by the ozone oxidation means with metal ions, and an ultraviolet irradiation means 4 which promotes the ozone oxidation reaction in the ozone oxidation means on ultraviolet irradiation. In this method, an organic matter is not decomposed, but ozone-oxidized into carbonyl compounds which are separated from the liquid on precipitation by means of chelate reaction with metal ions. This method, therefore, results in a large reduction of ozone consumption and a significant shortening of the treatment time.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a laminated wafer into multiple sheets quite easily by an automatic process.SOLUTION: A wafer aggregate 6 made of multiple sheets of wafer laminated is immersed in water with microscopic bubbles with both surfaces of each wafer 6a facing sideways. Thus, the wafer aggregate 6 only has to be immersed in water to be made into multiple sheets. Compared to the previous technology in which a wafer is made into sheets one by one by manual labor or by using a suction pad, this method is more effective because a whole lot can be processed at once and a certain processing capacity can be kept without depending on the skills of an operator. Moreover, it is possible to reduce careless breakage or damage of the wafer 6a more greatly compared to the previous technology. Further, this method can be applied easily to the previous wafer manufacturing process and can be realized with water and inactive gas, so environmental loads can be reduced.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with addition of dispersion-suppressing flocculant and large-scale equipment by transforming dissolved silica into a solid having a higher stability than flock, and also to reduce treatment cost of waste liquid by removing silica from waste liquid while compactness of the equipment is attained by eliminating maturing time. SOLUTION: The waste liquid treatment apparatus 1 includes: a waste liquid storing tank 2 for storing silica-contained waste liquid; an additive storing tank 3 for storing an additive that chemically reacts with silica to form a hardly soluble compound; a reaction tank 4 for making reaction between silica-contained waste liquid and the additive; a solid-liquid separator 5 for separating from a liquid component the hardly soluble compound formed in the reaction tank 4; a liquid component storing tank 6 for storing a liquid component after the solid is separated by the solid-liquid separator 5; and a pH controlling apparatus 7 that adjusts pH by adding a pH adjusting agent to the liquid in the liquid component storing tank 6.
