摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound useful for durable light emission devices capable of high-luminance light output. SOLUTION: This new compound is an organic compound of formula I [X is a (substituted) arylene or heterocycle; Ar to Ar are each a (substituted) aryl containing two or more (substituted) fluorenyls], e.g. N,N,N',N'-tetra -[2-(9,9' -dimethylfluorenyl)] -2,7 -diamino-9,9-dimethylfluorene. The compound of formula I is obtained by reaction of a compound of formula II such as 2-iodo -9,9 -dimethylfluorene with a compound of formula III [Ar and Ar' are each a (substituted) fluorenyl or (substituted) aryl] such as 2,7 -diamino-9,9- dimethylfluorene in the presence of a metal catalyst such as copper. This compound of formula I is useful for manufacturing the other objective light emission devices with diversified light emission wavelength exhibiting various light emission hue.

SOLUTION: This light-transmitting recording material for electrophotography consists of a light-transmitting substrate (A), a conductive base layer (C) on the substrate (A), and a light-transmitting toner accepting layer (B) on the conductive base coating layer (C). The conductive base coating layer (C) on the light-transmitting substrate (A) has 1×10 to 1×10 Ω surface resistance in an environment at 20 deg.C and 60% humidity. The conductive base coating layer (C) contains a conductive material such as a metal or metal compd. and the toner accepting layer (B) contains at least wax as a release material and a thermoplastic resin.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide the method capable of producing the substrate having excellent thickness accuracy by clamping and pressing a thermoplastic resin while bringing a roll stamper and a forming roll into contact therewith via a gap regulating means. CONSTITUTION:The roll stamper 102 is constituted by fixing a flexible stamper on the peripheral surface of a roll base material 109 and forming the gap regulating means 108 in the region exclusive of the region where the thermoplastic resin sheet 106 comes into contact. The roll stamper 102 and the forming roll 104 clamp and press the resin sheet 106 while the stamper and the roll are pressed to each other so as to come into contact with each other via the gap regulating means 108. The dependency of the gap formed of the roll stamper 102 and the forming roll 104 in which the resin sheet 106 passes on the eccentricity of the respective rolls is eliminated by such constitution. The substrate sheet 107 for the optical recording medium having the excellent thickness accuracy of preformat patterns 103 is thus produced at a low cost.

The sum of the elastic constants of the spread (K11), twist (K22), bend (K33) of the low-polymer liquid crystals has the relation of equation K11+2K22+K33 N (N denotes KgmS ).
