摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet having a hot-melt coloring layer formed on a base material sheet, which is excellent in printing quality and has a function of having high adhesion to a body to be transferred, and to provide an image forming method using the thermal transfer sheet.SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet has the hot-melt coloring layer 4 capable of thermal transferring, formed on at least a part of one surface of the base material sheet 2 via a release layer 3, wherein the release layer 3 includes at least a silicone-modified resin having an epoxy group and a curing catalyst, and the hot-melt coloring layer 4 is constituted at least of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer as a first component, an amine-modified acrylic resin as a second component and a coloring agent. The amine-modified acrylic resin is contained at a ratio of 0.2 to 15% respective to whole resins of the first component in the hot-melt coloring layer 4.

摘要: PURPOSE:To perform a stable serial print without sticking and zigzag print, by so setting a drawing force of a ribbon when the ribbon is drawn at a predetermined speed to a specific range as to form an angle of 45 deg. to a line for connecting center of rotary shafts of two spools. CONSTITUTION:In order to draw a ribbon 4 from a cassette body 2 by rotating a spool 3b of a cassette 1 for a ribbon, a force which is larger than total sum of frictional forces of respective parts is required. Then, the case where it is actually mounted in a printer is presumed, and a drawing force when the ribbon 4 is drawn from the cassette body 1 at a speed of 100m/sec in a direction of an arrow C is set to a range of 7-14g. In this case, if the force is less than 7g, supply of the ribbon 4 becomes excessive, and a zigzag print occurs, and hence is not preferable. If the force exceeds14g. supply of the ribbon 4 becomes insufficient, and hence preferable printing is not conducted.

摘要: PURPOSE:To print well on a body to be transferred and to prevent blocking from occurring when a rolled condition is kept for storage by laminating a hot-melt ink layer and a surface layer on one face of a base material in this order and forming the surface layer of an adhesive resin and a releasable resin. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer sheet is constituted by laminating a hot-melt ink layer 4 and a surface layer 5 in this order on one face of a base material 2 through a releasable layer 3. On the other hand, a back face layer 6 is provided on another face of the base material 2. In addition, the surface layer 5 is formed of an adhesive resin and a releasable resin. It is possible thereby for the surface layer 5 to transfer well onto the body to be transferred by the adhesive resin being a constitutional ingredient when heat transfer based on a thermal heat is performed. In addition, under a condition where the heat transfer sheet is alternately laminated into a roll-like condition, a releasable resin constituting the surface layer 5 prevents blocking between the surface layer and the heat transfer sheet facing this from occurring.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a thermal transfer sheet and an integrated thermal transfer sheet for recording a plurality of colors (multicolor) on a body to be transferred by using a thermal printer to be used combinedly with heat-sensitive papers heretofore available and provided with the printing quality, sharpness and printing record sensitivity and provide a recording method thereof. SOLUTION: A thermal transfer sheet 1 is provided with a thermal transfer ink layer on one face of a base film 4, and the thermal transfer ink layer is formed of two layers or more, and hues of respective layers are different, and all layers of different hues of the thermal transfer ink layer are transferred at the time of low energy, while only an outermost layer 6 is substantially transferred at the time of high energy. Namely when the low energy is applied on the thermal transfer sheet 1, the sheet is released on the interface between the base film 4 and the thermal transfer ink layer 5, and all the layers 5 and 6 of different hues of the thermal transfer ink layer are transferred on a body to be transferred, while when high energy is applied on the thermal transfer sheet 1, the sheet is released on the interface between the respective ink layers of the thermal transfer ink layer formed of two layers or more, and only the outermost layer 6 is transferred on the body to be transferred.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet, which has a colored ink layer excellent in a coating surface quality, an excellent abrasion proofness as a printed matter, a favaroable sensitivity and, further, an excellent printing quality. SOLUTION: Since a chlorinated ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (henceforth expressed as EVA)-containing colored ink layer is provided on one side of a base material film, this thermal transfer sheet has a colored ink layer excellent in a coating surface quality, and an excellent abrasion proofness as a printed matter, a favorable sensitivity and, further, an excellent printing quality. In order to realize highly abrasion proof physical properties, a comparatively larger molecular weight non-chlorinated ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer must be employed. In this case, as its fluidity as a coating liquid is worse, it is difficult to form a thin uniform film. Contrarily, when the chlorinated EVA is employed, the fluidity as a coating liquid does not prevented from demonstrating, resulting in realizing a favorable abrasion proofness as a printed matter.

摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer film, a body to be subjected to transfer and an integral type thermal transfer sheet which enable recording of a plurality of colors (multi-color) on the body to be subjected to transfer, by using a thermal transfer printer usable in common with a connectional thermal paper, and are excellent in a print quality, clearness and the sensitivity of print recording. SOLUTION: In an integral type thermal transfer sheet 1 wherein a thermal transfer film 2 and a body 3 to be subjected to transfer are bonded temporarily to be stuck on each other peelably, a plurality of layers 8 different in hue are formed on the ink receiving surface side on the body 3 and a plurality of colors can be recorded on the body 3 by varying the impression energy and/or impression pressure from a thermal head 10. The melting point and viscosity of thermal transfer ink are regulated so that a thermal transfer ink layer 5 is transferred with the lowest energy, while such a component as forms a film with high energy, the physical properties thereof not being changed by low energy, is added to the outermost layer (layer 2) of the body 3, in a design wherein the film forming property thereof is utilized to bring it into close contact with the thermal transfer ink layer 5 side so that the color of the layer (layer 1) positioned just under the outermost layer is exhibited.
