SOLUTION: The process for preparing the organosilicon compound represented by general formula (I): (R 1 R 2 R 3 SiR 4 ) 2 S x is carried out as follows. A halogenated alkoxysilane represented by general formula (II): R 1 R 2 R 3 SiR 4 X is reacted with an anhydrous polysulfide represented by general formula (III): M 2 S z and/or an anhydrous sulfide represented by general formula (IV): M 2 S and, as necessary, sulfur in an organic solvent. In the method, the organic solvent is separated from the resultant suspension and the obtained mixture containing the organosilicon compound represented by general formula (I) and a solid MX is then mixed with water containing at least one buffer to separate the formed phase.
