摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying a new epitopic peptide having a desired binding activity to a specific target substance, and a phage library for the same. SOLUTION: This method for identifying the peptide is provided by (1) preparing a phage library consisting of phages presenting one or more copies of a specific chimera coat protein on the surface of each of the phages, wherein each of the chimera coat proteins contain an epitope candidate or a bonding domain candidate as a mutant of a known protein domain which is foreign for the phage, and collectively presenting the multiple number of the epitope candidates or bonding domain candidates, (2) bringing the phage library in contact with the target substance and (3) separating the phages based on the affinity of the phages to the target substance. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying a new epitopic peptide having binding activity to a specific target material, and to provide a phage library. SOLUTION: This method comprises the steps of (1) preparing the phage library comprising phages with each surface thereof displayed with a specific chimeric coat protein copy, wherein the chimeric coat protein includes an epitope candidate or binding domain candidate as a mutant of a known protein domain, (2) contacting the phage library with a target material, and (3) isolating the phage based on the affinity of the phage for the target material; wherein the difference between a plurality of different candidates is developed by a random mutation controlled so that the amino acids in the known domain come, the proportion of the amino acids' coming onto the sites is determined in advance, and the ratio of the probability of producing a preferable amino acid to the probability of producing the least preferable amino acid is COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
