PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an incorrect operation of an anti-theft function caused by an operation of an engine starting system startable in an non-inserted state of a key into an ignition key cylinder, in an anti-theft device for a vehicle. SOLUTION: A push start switch pushed at an engine starting time is connected to a power supply controller for making a starter motor start the engine when the key is inserted into the ignition key cylinder or certification collation by radio communication is completed and the anti-theft device for the vehicle for operating a warning apparatus when an IG signal from the power supply controller becomes an on-signal while the key is not inserted into the ignition key cylinder. When the collation by the radio communication with a portable machine is completed after an operation of the push start switch, the power supply controller switches an ACC signal or the IG signal supplied to the anti-theft device to an on-state in this order. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an extreme decrease in security property related to the theft of a vehicle when an engine is remotely started using a predetermined transmitter, in an anti-theft device for the vehicle, and a control method of the vehicle. SOLUTION: The vehicle has a remote engine starter for starting the engine remotely and the anti-theft device for the vehicle for operating a warning apparatus when the theft of the vehicle occurs. The both are interconnected via a communication line. When an engine start signal is supplied from the transmitter, the remote engine starter is made to supply a start signal to the vehicle anti-theft device via the communication line before a contact closing signal is supplied to an ignition relay. When the start signal is supplied to the vehicle anti-theft device, only a security function related to conditions of the un-insertion of an ignition key and ignition-on is released to a non-caution state, a security function related to the other conditions is kept in a caution state. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular anti-theft device capable of maintaining and enhancing the anti-theft performance by informing an owner of a vehicle of the specific content of a detected theft action of the vehicle. SOLUTION: Specific contents of the theft action of a vehicle such as jack-up, intentional oscillation of a vehicle body, movement by a wrecker, and ingress into a vehicle are detected by using an inclination sensor 18 and an ingress sensor 20. The operation by a warning device 26 and a communication device 28 according to the specific content of the detected theft action is determined following the correspondence of the specific content of the predetermined theft action to the operation by the warning device 26 and the communication device 28, and the operational signal is supplied to the warning device 26 and the communication device 28 so as to realize the determined operation. Setting of the correspondence can be changed/updated directly by the input operation to an on-vehicle by-factor function setting interface 32 by a vehicle owner, or remotely by the input operation to a portable terminal 12 via a center 14. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress new theft of a stolen vehicle being left with a window open or a door unlocked, concerning a vehicle theft preventive device. SOLUTION: Starting of an engine is prohibited according to a key invalid command from a center. It is determined whether a vehicle occupant exists or not in a vehicular interior by using a door open/close detecting switch, a portable machine and/or a key presence or absence determining ECU, and an intrusion sensor. It is also determined whether any door is unlocked or not by using a door lock state detecting switch, and it is determined whether any window is opened or not by using a window open/close state detecting switch. After starting of the engine is prohibited by the key invalid command, when the vehicle occupant does not exist in the vehicular interior and it is determined that any door is unlocked or any window is opened, locking of the unlocked door and closing of the opened window is ordered to a door lock actuator and a window opening/closing actuator. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular antitheft device capable of demonstrating the vehicle theft suppression effect by permitting the detection of a first illegal action after a second illegal action is performed in a situation where detection of the first illegal action is limited. SOLUTION: In the warning mode, when a suspicious object present in a cabin is detected by using an ingress sensor, and when a vehicle theft action other than presence of the suspicious object is detected by using other sensor or switch, an alarm warning is given by a warning device, and the image of the vehicle theft action is picked up by a camera. Detection of presence/absence of any suspicious object by the ingress sensor is switched between the permissible condition and the limited condition by the operation of an ingress sensor detection changing switch. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device for a vehicle capable of preventing the vehicle from being easily stolen attributable to illegally shielding a lens of an image pickup means. SOLUTION: Theft action performed when a vehicle is stolen is detected by using a courtesy switch, a hood switch, an ingress sensor, and an inclination sensor. When such a theft action is detected, lens shielding by a shutter is canceled, and image pickup of the vehicle theft action is executed. After the image pickup is executed, it is determined by using a shutter position sensor whether or not a camera lens is actually shielded. If it is determined that the camera lens is actually shielded, it is determined that the vehicle is stolen with illegal shielding of the lens, a warning and an alarm are given outside the vehicle by a warning device and an alarm device. At the same time, a shutter actuator is again commanded to be changed so that the shutter reaches in a vicinity of the fully-opened position and the shielding of the camera lens is canceled. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly release use restriction of a stolen vehicle subjected to vehicle use restriction such as prohibiting of engine restart after recovery of the vehicle, concerning a vehicle theft preventing device and a vehicle theft preventing system. SOLUTION: When a key side identification code of a vehicular key inserted in a key cylinder matches a registered identification code stored on a vehicle side, engine start is permitted. When theft information is given from a center according to an invalidation request of the vehicular key from a proper vehicle user having the vehicle stolen, the registered identification code corresponding to all vehicular keys authentically registered in the vehicle so as to prohibit engine start is made to be invalid. Then, the proper vehicle user inserts a spare key into the key cylinder of the stolen vehicle and requests releasing of engine start prohibition, thereby the release request information is given from the center.
