PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof construction of a jack and a waterproof treatment method, for surely water-proofing a jack in which attaching of a contact member to a jack body is performed in two directions, a bottom surface part and a rear surface part, with improved productivity and lower cost.SOLUTION: A cover frame 31 is formed which extends along outer periphery from a bottom surface part 3f of a body part 3 to a rear surface part 3b. An L-like cover member 33 is provided which covers the bottom surface part 3f of the body part 3 and the rear surface part 3b. A wall part 33d protruding downward is formed at the bottom surface part of the cover member 33. An adhesive flow channel 37 and adhesive outlets 38 and 39 are formed at the bottom surface of the cover member 33, such that an adhesive 35 which seals a gap between the cover frame 31 and the cover member 33 as well as a gap between external connection parts 18e-22e of contact members 18-22 and penetration parts 32a-32e thereof, is poured into a point 41 of a bottom surface front part of the cover member 33 to apply it to outlets 34, 35a-35e, 40 of the gaps.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield case capable of improving an exfoliation strength to a substrate, and restraining deterioration of a strength and an EMI characteristic of the shield case even if an elastic contact piece is provided.SOLUTION: A shield case 100 comprises a relative inner wall 110, in which a plug P can be inserted; an elastic contact piece 111 formed by cutting one part of the inner wall 110 inward; an opening 112 around it; a bottom plate part 120 provided at a lower end 110c of a front portion of the inner wall 110; a folding part 130 communicated with a front end 110a of the inner wall 110 and folded toward a rear end 110b of the inner wall 110; an outer wall 140 communicated with the folding part 130, arranged along an outer surface of the inner wall 110, and covering the opening 112; and a first connecting leg part 160a provided at a front portion of the outer wall 140 in an inserting direction α.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce lowering in the pull-out force of a jack which is caused by repeated insertion/removal to/from a plug. SOLUTION: A jack forms a movable contact strip 60 having a spring property for contacting while pressing a plug during plug connection by folding back one end of an attachment strip 61 attached to a body 70, and restricts excessive displacement of the movable contact strip 60 by raising a projecting strip 65 from the attachment strip 61. A cantilever spring strip 66 is formed for raising the projecting strip 65 on the attachment strip 61, and a clearance 81 is provided for flexing the spring strip 66 between the body 70 and spring strip 66. As a result, the spring strip 66 is flexed at the clearance 81 even when the contact strip 60 comes in contact with the projecting strip 65. SOLUTION: The connector in which a resin body 2 is surrounded by a metallic shield frame has the shielding frame, including a first shielding frame 4 having first contact pieces 4f, 4h of plate-spring shape and a second shielding frame 5 having a second contact piece 5f of plate-spring shape. The first shielding frame 4 having the first contact pieces 4f, 4h and the second shield frame 5 having the second contact piece 5f are provided so that appropriate metal material and respective plating selection can duly be made. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield case which can cover the periphery of the connection of an L-shaped body almost without gap, and without requiring the bending work at the time of the covering.SOLUTION: The shield case C can house an L-shaped body having a pillar body, and a connection 100. The case C includes shells 700, 800 and a cover 900. The shell 800 is cylindrical, and the connection 100 can be inserted into the shell 800. The shell 700 includes a cylindrical shell body 710 having a slit 715 and an opening 716 through which the pillar body can be inserted. In the state where the connection 100 is inserted into the slit 715, the marginal part 721a of the slit 715 is located near the -X direction side of the connection 100, and the marginal parts 713a, 714a of the slit 715 are located near the Y, -Y direction sides of the connection 100. The cover 900 is fastened to the X direction side of the shell body 710, and located near the X direction side of the connection 100.

The connector comprises a housing 100 having a connection hole 110a in which the body 11 and the locking portion 13a of the plug 10 can be inserted, and a latch portion 113a provided on an inner surface of the connection hole 110a and capable of locking the locking portion 13a of the plug 10; and a reinforcing piece 380 disposed so as to abut against the latch portion 113a and having mechanical strength higher than that of the latch portion 113a.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a micro USB plug which is improved in strength of a plug part by increasing the material thickness of a plug part shell.SOLUTION: A material having 0.3 mm thickness is used for a sheet metal-made plug part shell 13 in plug parts 30, 40 of micro USB plugs P3, 4. However, as for a portion 13a opposite to a body-side recess 11b of a plug part body 11 of the plug part shell 13, a striking process is applied onto the internal wall surface of the portion 13a, a shell-side recess 13b of depth 0.1 mm is provided and the plate thickness of the plug part shell 13 of the portion 13a is made to have 0.2 mm.
