Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple member separating device easily manufacturable, securely separable a member to be separated in any shape by the small percussion of detonation, and preventing mounted equipment from being damaged by the percussion of detonation and spattering of residue.
SOLUTION: This member separating device comprises a brittle part 12 having a connection plate 13 linking the separation ends 10a and 10b of members 11a and 11b to be separated to each other which is positioned along the separation ends 10a and 10b. A retainer 14a having a groove 19 linking the separation ends 10a and 10b to each other and facing the connection plate 13 and another retainer 14b are connected to the members 11a and 11b to be separated from each other through the connection plate 13. A detonating cord 16 joined to a bomb live unit 20 is buried in the groove 19 with a resin 17. The separating device is used for separating fairing to release an outer shell capsule covering equipment mounted on a rocket or an artificial satellite, for separating multi-stage rocket, and for separating the other members from each other.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separating device capable of securely separating members to be separated by small impact without scattering a broken piece and remainder of explosive. SOLUTION: This separating device of a member is constituted in such a way that a cylinder 11 provided at a separation end of a separation member 10 on one side has a channel 13 in a hollow 21 innermost part, a detonating fuse 12 linked to a detonating assembly is fitted into the channel 13, a piston 14 is pushed into the vicinity of the innermost part of a cylinder hollow 21 part, and a piston jumping-out prevention projection 17 is provided in the vicinity of an inlet of the cylinder hollow 21 part. A joint 16 provided at a separation end of a separation member 20 on the other side is inserted into the cylinder hollow 21 part and is abutted on the piston 14.
