Abstract: ダストカバー成形型から固定金具高さ位置規定用ピンを省略してその摩耗による製品形状のバラツキを抑え、型メンテナンスを容易化し、型製作費を低減し、ダストカバー固定部の軸方向寸法を縮小するダストカバー用固定金具を提供する。この目的を達成するため、ダストカバー2を装着箇所に固定すべくダストカバー2に埋設される環状の固定金具1であって、外径筒部4の軸方向一方の端部に曲げ部5を介して内径歯6を一体成形してなる固定金具1において、当該固定金具1は、曲げ部5の軸方向一方の端部5aがダストカバー2の軸方向一方の端面2aと軸方向同一位置になるようにダストカバー2に埋設される。かつ曲げ部5の軸方向一方の端部5aには、曲げ部5を径方向に貫通する溝状の連通部8が放射状に設けられている。

Abstract: ダストカバーを装着箇所に固定すべくダストカバーに埋設される環状の固定金具であって、環状基部とその内径縁に設けられて装着箇所に対する嵌合代を設定する円錐面状の内径歯とを一体に有する固定金具において、ダストカバーを装着するときに固定金具全体が傾いた状態で装着されるのを抑制することができ、もって正確な装着状態を実現することができるダストカバー用固定金具を提供する。この目的達成のため、環状基部の厚みよりも内径歯の厚みを薄く設定することにより装着嵌合時、内径歯が変形するときに環状基部は追随変形しにくい構造とする。また、内径歯の根元部に薄肉部を設定することにより装着嵌合時、内径歯が変形するときに環状基部は追随変形しにくい構造とする。

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust cover capable of reinforcing coupling of a dust cover body 12 and a seal lip member 13, reducing the number of parts and the cost, and facilitating assembling, while providing breakage resistance and the seal performance of the dust cover 11. SOLUTION: This dust cover comprises the dust cover body 12 made form an elastic element such as elastic plastic resin integrally molded with a film portion 12c between a first end installing portion 12a disposed on outer periphery of a ball stud 4 and a second end installing portion 12b attached to a socket 2, and the seal lip member 13 made from a elastic element such as rubber disposed on an inner periphery of the first end installing portion 12a in the dust cover body 12 and tightly contacted with an peripheral surface of the ball stud 4. The dust cover body 12 and the seal lip member 13 are integrated with each other by interposing and molding the seal lip member 13 when the dust cover body 12 is molded after molding the seal lip member 13. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for fixing a fixed portion of a dust cover in which a reinforcing ring is embedded, to a mounting member such as a socket, while improving fixing force. SOLUTION: The reinforcing ring 21 has an engaging protrusion 24 formed on part of the circumference by protruding part of the inner periphery from the inner peripheral face of the fixed portion 12 inward in the radial direction, and the mounting member 2 has an engaging groove 6 formed in part of the circumference for inserting the engaging protrusion 24. The engaging groove 6 serially has an one-end opening portion 7 as an insertion port for the engaging protrusion 24, a first groove portion 8 extending from the one-end opening portion 7 in one axial direction, a second groove portion 9 extending from the first groove portion 8 in one circumferential direction, and a third groove portion 10 extending from the second groove portion 9 in the other axial direction in a terminated shape. The engaging protrusion 24 is inserted from the one-end opening portion 7 into the first groove portion 8 and consequently into the second groove portion 9 during mounting, to engage with the third groove portion 10 with spring-back due to the rubber elasticity of the dust cover fixed portion 12.
