Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a bifunctional complex comprising a display molecule part and a coding part, a method for generation of a library of bifunctional complexes, and a method for identifying the display molecule part and the coding part having a preselected property.SOLUTION: In the method for obtaining the bifunctional complex comprising the display molecule part and the coding part, a nascent bifunctional complex comprising a chemical reaction site and a priming site for enzymatic addition of a tag is reacted at the chemical reaction site with one or more reactants, and provided at the priming site with respective tags identifying the reactants using one or more enzymes.
