Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite transparency and a method for production thereof.SOLUTION: The colored composite transparency includes a surface at least partially coated with a transparent tinted coating deposited from a coating composition comprising polymer-enclosed color-imparting particles. In other respects, the invention is directed to composite transparencies exhibiting a plurality of hues. The composite transparencies comprise the surfaces at least partially coated with a transparent tinted coating deposited from a coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of polymer-enclosed color-imparting particles, wherein the tinted coating has a plurality of thicknesses.
