Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminescent material which can emit a light from the blue region to the red region through the triplet MLCT(Metal-to-Ligand Charge-Transfer) and to provide an organic electroluminescence element using this. SOLUTION: A luminescent material emitting a phosphorescence is synthesized by bonding an organic metal complex to the side chain of a polysilsesquioxane. This luminescent material can be used when an organic film of an organic electroluminescence element is formed. This luminescent material emits a light in the wavelength range of 430-650 nm and is excellent in color purity and light emitting efficiency characteristics. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
