摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent infiltration of water or salt water into pores of a carbon ceramic brake disc, which are exposed outside, or to suppress the amount of the infiltration. SOLUTION: A disc, whose pores remain after infiltration using a carbide-forming element is conducted and carbide is formed by a reaction between the element and at least part of the carbon in a tentative body of the brake disc, and at least part of which are filled with particles having an average diameter in the range of 0.5-20 nm, and a method for manufacturing the disc are provided. The disc is treated using a solution containing an organic compound of boron, zirconium, titanium, silicon, or aluminum, or containing a mixture of the organic compound, and the organic compound exists in an organic solvent in a state of sol. The disc is removed from a sol tank, dried in a furnace at 30-300 K/h heating rate under air or a protective gas, and annealed at 350-800 °C final temperature for 20-120 min. 摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic molding derived from a polymer having a high density of at least 85% of a theoretical value, which is capable of manufacturing by the production technique of plastic, and exhibiting a low shrinkage of less than 10% during manufacturing and sufficient dry sliding property of the molding, a manufacturing method thereof by thermal decomposition and a sliding element using the molding. SOLUTION: The ceramic molding having a composition composed of 30-80 wt.% polymer component, 0-30 wt.% filler and additionally 10-70 wt.% graphite based on the total weight of the mixture, containing a single phase or polyphase amorphous, partially crystalline or crystalline matrix composed of a mixture of silicon carbide (SiC), silicon nitride (Si3N4), silicon dioxide (SiO2) or, for example, an oxycarbide, oxynitride, a carbonitride and/or an oxycarbonitride and derived from the polymer is manufactured by being heated for the cross- linking bonding of the polymer component and successively being subjected to a thermal decomposition process. Particularly the molding composed of polysiloxane, polysilazane or polycarbosilane is manufactured.
