PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a herbicide composition having an excellent effect on weed control.SOLUTION: The herbicide composition including N-(7-fluoro-3,4-dihydro-3-oxo-4-prop-2-ynyl-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-6-yl)cyclohex-1-ene-1,2-dicarboxamide and an inert carrier, wherein the N-(7-fluoro-3,4-dihydro-3-oxo-4-prop-2-ynyl-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-6-yl)cyclohex-1-ene-1,2-dicarboxamide has a volume median diameter of 1.7 μm or less, has an excellent effect on weed control.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agrochemical emulsion containing pyriproxyfen as an active ingredient and having excellent emulsion stability, even when diluted with hard water containing calcium ion or magnesium ion in a large amount. SOLUTION: This agrochemical emulsion comprises pyriproxyfen, a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, an alkylarylsulfonate, and an aromatic hydrocarbon. Especially, the agrochemical emulsion comprises preferably 1 to 15 wt. % of pyriproxyfen, 5 to 25 wt. % of a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester, 1 to 10 wt. % of an alkylarylsulfonate, and 65 to 90 wt. % of an aromatic hydrocarbon. Also even when the agrochemical emulsion is diluted with hard water, the diluted solution having excellent emulsion stability and an excellent stabilized emulsion state can be obtained without relating to the hardness of the water used for the dilution. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous suspension-based agrochemical composition containing microcapsules having an elution performance correspondent to an application situation without changing the design of the microcapsules themselves. SOLUTION: This aqueous suspension-based agrochemical composition of the present invention comprises microcapsules prepared by coating an oily substance comprising an agrochemical active ingredient and an organic solvent with a coating material comprising a thermosetting resin, at least one selected from the group consisting of polyglycerol fatty acid esters, sugar fatty acid esters and alkylbenzene sulfonic acids or their salts, and a thickener. The thermosetting resin is preferably a polyurethane resin or a polyurea resin. The agrochemical active ingredient includes insect growth regulators such as 4-phenoxyphenyl 2-(2-pyridyloxy)propyl ether. SOLUTION: The composition for controlling the plant disease injuries comprises the strobilurin fungicidal compound. A microcapsule is characterized in that the microcapsule has 10-100 μm volume median particle diameter and 0.02-0.05 μm film thickness of the film and an aromatic hydrocarbon solution of the strobilurin fungicidal compound is encapsulated. The microcapsule is characterized in that the film is composed of a polyurethane resin and/or a polyurea resin. The composition for controlling the plant disease injuries comprises the microcapsule. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid agrochemical preparation fully exhibiting the agrochemical activity of its agrochemical active ingredient in paddy fields.SOLUTION: The solid agrochemical preparation includes: activated carbon; and an agrochemical active ingredient having solubility in water of 5 wt.% or less and a soil adsorption constant Koc of 50 or greater at 20°C, and meets requirements: (1) the value of the formula: the agrochemical active ingredient's content(g)/[the activated carbon's content(g)×the actitvated carbon's specific surface area(m/g)] is 0.0001 or more and less than 0.004; and (2) the density is 0.8 (g/cm) or higher. This solid agrochemical preparation has relatively low solubility in water, and even if the agrochemical active ingredient tends to be adsorbed to the soil, its agrochemical activity is fully exhibited in paddy fields; while even if its agrochemical active ingredient tends to be photodecomposed, its photodecomposition is mitigated, resulting in exhibiting and sustaining sufficient agrochemical activity.
