Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve machining precision of a work and to facilitate variation of setting in compliance with the shape and the like of the work by setting the pressing force and position of a press member according to the shape of a work, in a press device to hold the work in a given position. CONSTITUTION:A press device for a work comprises a moving device 12 to move a press member 11, a load sensor 22 to detect a press force exerted on a work 1, a position detecting means 23 to detect the position of the press member 11, and a memory device 24 to store a press force and a press position responding to the shape of the work 1. It also comprises a control means 25 provided for comparing the press force and the position stored in the memory device 24 with a press force signal and a position signal, respectively, detected by both sensors, and controlling the press force and the position of the press member 11 in response to those deviations as the results of comparison.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive to miniaturize and lighten the weight of a conveyor and reduce driving force required for operating it. SOLUTION: A conveyor belt 20 is wound around a first pulley 19 at both ends of a traveling bam 17 and guided along the top and bottom of the traveling beam 17. An end 20b of the conveyor belt 20 is retained by a tension pulley 22 fixed to the base stand. A table base 21 fixed to the conveyor belt 20 includes an elevating mechanism to which driving force is transmitted by a drive belt 23 which is coaxial with the first pulley 19, wound around a second pulley 26 mutually capable of being rotated independently of the first pulley 19, and which is driven by the driven pulley 29 of an elevator motor 14. The weight of the movable part of a traveling motor 13 for driving the traveling beam 17 and that of the elevator motor 14 for driving the drive belt 23 are lightened by fixing them to the base stand which itself do not move. Thus not only can the strength required for the base stand be reduced but the device can be miniaturized and necessary driving can be reduce.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To clamp a work optimally to improve the work machining accuracy by providing a driving means for driving a pressing member moving device in response to the deviation of the pressing force and the deviation of the pressing position. CONSTITUTION:The deviation of the pressing force and the deviation of the pressing position are always obtained by a pressing force comparing means 51 and a pressing position comparing means 52. When a pressing member 11 comes in contact with a work 1 and the pressing force signal rises to make the deviation of the pressing force zero, in the case where the deviation of the pressing position exists within a preset allowable difference, a moving device 12 is driven by a driving means 53 in response to the deviation of the pressing force and the deviation of the pressing position obtained by these comparing means 51, 52. The pressing member 11 is moved in the work pressing direction by the moving device 12 to hold the work 1 at a predetermined position.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the cladding processing efficiency by providing a rotation driving device on a cylinder head mounting base, and also, providing an aligning device of a valve seat to be processed. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a mounting base 22 for supporting a cylinder head so that the surface 24 to be processed of a valve seat part to be processed becomes horizontal, a rotation driving device 46 for supporting the mounting base rotatably around a rotation axis 48, and movably along a straight line and rotating the mounting base around the rotation axis, and aligning devices 30, 34 for aligning the mounting base with respect to the rotation driving device so that an axis 20a of the valve seat part is aligned with the rotation axis. In such a way, a cladding processing of the valve seat part can be performed efficiently and at a low cost.

The device comprises a clamp shaft 18 equipped with a clamping member 19 which freely varies its displacement in the axial direction of the eccentric hole, is installed in the eccentric hole rotatably around the eccentric axial line independently of a seat base, and presses the workpiece thereon, eccentric members, drive means 6, 14 and 29 which drivingly rotate the seat base and the clamp shaft individually; and a drive means 32 driving the clamp shaft in the direction of its axial line.
