If the own vehicle is stopped or running at a low speed, the possibility of rear- end collision with the subsequent vehicle is evaluated, assuming that the own vehicle stops at a stop-line. If the previous vehicle is present, the possibility of rear-end collision is evaluated based on the speed of the own vehicle and the subsequent vehicle. The possibility of rear-end collision is evaluated based on the additional data of infrastructure and the previous vehicle, therefore, it is possible to give an alarm more completely.
