    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the fusion of resin powder on the periphery of a revolving shaft insertion hole by providing the 1st and 2nd mask members so as to contact tightly with the periphery of the revolving shaft insertion hole at the end faces of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:This masking jig has the 1st and 2nd mask members 66, 68 which close the revolving shaft insertion hole 12 opening respectively to the end faces 16, 18 of the rotor 10 of a Roots type supercharger by contacting tightly with the periphery thereof, a rod 80 which is inserted into the member 66 relatively movable at a specified distance in the axial direction and has an engaging part 130 at one end, an engaging part 76 which is provided to the member 68, can be fitted to the engaging part 130 in the state of having the phase coinciding with the phase of the part 130 and engages with the part 130 by being rotated relatively with the part 130 in the fitted state and a spring 122 which is mounted to the rod 80 and energizes the member 66 toward the member 68 side. The rod 80 is inserted into the hole 12 and after the phases of the engaging parts 130 and 76 are mated with each other, the rod and the member 68 are relatively rotated while the spring 122 is compressed to engage the engaging parts 130, 76 so that the members 66, 68 contact tightly with both ends of the rotor.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To aim at preventing generation of heat due to hone loading, deformation in a workpiece and surface roughness failure from occurring, by altering the extent of expansion force in a way of controlling an expansion motor according to a state of turning torque of a spindle motor. CONSTITUTION:When high-pressure expansive cutting is carried out by rotation of the preset expansion motor 9, turning torque of a spindle motor 19 is within the range of preset high-pressure expansive cutting torque. When a cutting state gets out of order due to hone loading or the like and torque exceeds the range, the expansion motor 9 is reversely rotated by a control circuit inclusive of a torque meter 18 and a microcomputer 20 whereby spindle feed is suspended as long as the specified time. Next, rotational frequency of the expansion motor 9 is altered to the lower value than the last time, expansion is resumed, and the high-pressure expansion cutting is over, shifting to medium expansion cutting. in this connection, medium pressure and low pressure expansive cutting operations also are controlled likewise. Therefore, in either case when it exceeds the preset torque range or when it goes gown from it, the torque is detected during operation and compensation for expansion force is carried out.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To carry out measurement over a wide range from upper to lower ends, expedite the determination of correcting quantity and improve productivity by providing plural air microsensor nozzles on the upper and lower parts of a bone head and measuring dimensions. CONSTITUTION:Plural air microsensor nozzles 8, 9 of a dimension detecting part are provided upper and lower parts of a hone head 2 to measure the dimension of a workpiece 3. Thereby, the dimension of the workpiece 3 can be measured over the wide range from the upper to lower end parts, enabling the accurate detection of a bore form and improving correcting accuracy. And, the measurement can be immediately carried out without need for drawing up the hone head 2 at the same time a machining cycle is suspended. Further, the workpiece 3 can be measured symultaneously in plural places in the vertical direction, instantly detecting the difference in dimensions and, thereby, expediting the determination of correcting quantity while reducing the cycle time of honing and improving productivity.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To make the film thickness of a coated resin uniform by welding a powdery resin onto the surface of heated metallic parts in a fluidized bed coating tank in which the powdery resin is housed in the fluidized state and injecting a compressed gas to the surface of the metallic parts taken out of the tank.
    CONSTITUTION: The above-mentioned powdery resin is welded to the surface of the heated metallic parts 10 in the fluidized bed coating tank 24 in which the powdery resin 22 is housed in the fluidized state. The compressed gas is injected by an air injector 42r onto the surface of the metallic parts 10 taken out of the tank 24 to remove the unwelded resin. As a result, the film thickness of the resin coated on the surface of the metallic parts 10 is made uniform. Since the resin powder is not carried away from the fluidized bed tank the working environment is maintained clean.
