摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nanochannel arrays suitable for high throughput macromolecular analysis.SOLUTION: A nanochannel array 100 comprises a surface 102 having a plurality of channels 104 in the material of the surface. The channels have a trench width of less than about 150 nanometers and a trench depth of less than 200 nanometers. The channels are surmounted by sealing material 108 to render such channels at least substantially enclosed.
