Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental device, capable of observing the progress of sterilization in periodontal disease treatment in real time, a medical device used in medical treatment or prevention for an infection disease, and a calculation method.SOLUTION: A dental device 1 includes: a light source part 55; a photo detecting part 56; and a control part 54. The light source part 55 emits light for irradiating at least one of a tooth, gums, dental plaque and dental calculus in an oral cavity. The photo detecting part 56 detects fluorescent light and reflected light from the oral cavity emitted for the light radiated from the light source part 55. The control part 54 outputs first data for visualizing a change with the passage of time in the intensity of the fluorescent light on the basis of the fluorescent light detected by the photo detecting part 56.
Abstract:
A fluid conditioning system is adapted to condition the fluid used in medical and dental cutting, irrigating, evacuating, cleaning, and drilling operations. The fluid may be conditioned by adding flavors, antiseptics and/or tooth whitening agents such as peroxide, medications, and pigments. In addition to the direct benefits obtained from introduction of these agents, the laser cutting properties may be varied from the selective introduction of the various agents.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce motor sound and vibration, and also to prevent wear or breakdown that is early caused.SOLUTION: This invention is related to an electric motor device for medical use, especially for dental handpieces including a motor housing (2) and a rotator (4) rotatably provided in this motor housing (2) around an axis (L) through a first bearing (6) and a second bearing (8). A stator (14) is provided around the rotator (4) in relation to the axis (L). The first bearing (6) is contained in a first bearing flange (10), and a second bearing (8) is contained in a second bearing flange (12). The two bearing flanges (10, 12) are made from metal and directly abut on the motor housing (2) on their peripheral surfaces (101, 121).
