摘要: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase durable life of a sinter carbide insert subjected to a heating cycle and/or heat cycle including sinter carbide (hard metal) such as a cutting tool, a cutting blade insert, a seal ring, a rolling roll and a cutting member for boring bit.SOLUTION: In order to increase resistance to heat cracking in a sinter carbide insert 50, the sinter carbide insert 50 is composed of a cutting part 51 including sinter carbide, a body part 52 and a heat sink part 53 thermally communicating with the body part. The heat sink part 53 includes a heat sink material having heat conductivity higher than that of sinter carbide. The heat sink part 53 conducts heat from the cutting part 51 and the body part 52 and releases the heat.
